Film Disney's Moana is coming 2016

Back in 2013 on the D23 Expo Disney announced Moana as a new upcoming musical adventure film featuring a Polynesian navigator named Moana setting sail in search of a fabled island. However back then Moana was expected to be released in 2018. But on october 19 2014 it was announced that Moana was going to have a release date in 2016. The reason why Moana is coming 2016 is because that the movie is moving well along behind the scenes at the studio. This is great news not only for the movie but we get two disney movies in 2016 Zootopia and Moana and maybe Giants. Moana is said to be animated with a new painterly stile of cgi.

Frozen has a lot of hype involved but no doubt the brand new Disney movie will beat Frozen out because....well its new. It always happens.

Frozen is still a box office hit, so we have to see how that does before we rule out that Moana > Frozen because after a month of Moana people will have the same complaints they have for every new Disney movie.

 

I heard about this before but not the fact its going to be released in 2016. Yay!
