With Terra's heart with who knows what, what do you think will happen with Terra? Do you think he'll be rescued? I don't know what will happen with him but people say that he will in his real appearance.

 

People say that Xemnas is Terra but im confused on whose heart is with whose body

You are not making any sense bc you are ignoring the whole point and reason the body will try to replace the heart it lost . Roxas and Xemnas were both special cases indeed. However their bodies lacked its own heart so it will try to replace it . Xemnas aka Terra's body will or could've grown its very own new heart since it lacked having one. This heart would be made from both Terra and MX since Xemnas was made from both of them . The body would then keep the heart it formed even after returning to a human form aka Terra in this instance. Xemnas's newly grown heart would not return to MX's body and has nothing to do with MX's old body.Also just because MX was in charge doesn't mean Xemnas's new heart is just MX. It's equally Terra as well. Xemnas is his very own person who is part of both of them - a separate entity who grew his own heart bc his body lacked it .It is neither just MX or just Terra. His heart belongs to the body who grew it period.

Even if you wanted to use a case of "will" Terra is still involved. You cannot pretend he's no longer a factor when he is still the body and soul and part of the heart that created Xemnas.

No, in fact I didn't mean to 8D I brought in the "dominant will" factor, which means I'm not talking about the constitution of the newly grown Heart itself, but rather about "who" caused it to regrow in the first place, and then assumed it would go with that one part. Now I'm completely sure this is not the case, but I wanted to express my thought anyway

Well, is not that Roxas' newly grown Heart could've gone somewhere else The two circumstances are different, aren't they? Nobodies regrow Hearts because they need one, however, once a Nobody is no more (and the respective Heartless, too), in a specific circumstance, the body returns to the Somebody, right? But this case is particular because Xemnas, who carries MX's will, uses a body that is not his own! That's why I think that the newly grown Heart could go with MX instead of Terra: for what I know, certain conditions need to be met for a Heart to regrow, perhaps it depends on the will of the Nobody itself. Roxas regrew a Heart but there was only one person to merge with, while Xemnas is formed by both Terra and MX; maybe Xemnas Heart, if he had grown one indeed, would go with the one part whose will was dominant. But this here is pure speculation, everything could happen

 Roxas and Xemnas are special distinctions from the rest of Organization. The body will immediately begin to replace the heart at it's first exposure to light. The other Organization members who started to grow new hearts retained the identities they had prior to becoming Nobodies but Roxas and Xemnas were created specially and as such had a clean slate as Nobodies. When the time came for the bodies to replace those hearts the new hearts were claimed under the identity of both Xemnas and Roxas. The heart cannot exist without a container so upon the recompletion rule those hearts would have stayed with the body they had been made for. Xemnas acted as his own person whose personality is influenced by both Terra and Master Xehanort clearly displayed by the events of Kingdom Hearts II. The fact Xemnas sided with Xehanort merely shows who influenced his personality more. However that still does not change that when Xemnas grew his own heart it was done to replace the one his body lost. Because that heart is claimed under the identity of Xemnas it exists as it's own entity.

God, Xehanort has more convoluted forms than Majin Buu.

I think it's possible when Xemnas and Ansem were destroyed Terra and MX were restored to their original  bodies since they were a special case .When Roxas returned to Sora he had also grown his own heart . So Sora now carries Roxas' heart inside him . Well what if Xemnas grew his own heart and when Terra was restored he automatically carried Xemnas' newly grown heart making a restored Terra automatically 'norted"?  It would explain why MX still has Terra as a darkness. In order to rescue Terra maybe someone like Riku could enter his heart station and fight the norted part of his heart to restore Terra? Just throwing that theory out there.

Then the MX we saw is MX's restored body + MX's heart. What about Ansem SoD? He was the Heartless part while Xemnas was the Nobody part. In this special case, both of them destroyed brought back 2 Somebodies so why is Ansem back when he should be apart of both Somebodies? Wouldn't there be another "Ansem" type of being (that is more like Terra) since there were 2 people originally involved and they in the end came out separated?

Oh, okay then. What you said makes sense given what we know. There are probably some steps in between that they haven't shown yet that lead to MX being back to his old body.
