Watching the Re:Coded cutscenes presently, and something occurred to me

When Maleficent talks about the Tome of Prophecy, and how it can create a world out of nothing

Especially with just having played KH2, I have an idea how this might work into the game

It seems likely to me that the tome may be used to summon a 'strange world' into existence. A world that doesn't make sense to exist in KH maybe, or one that doesn't really fit with Disney.

So supposing the tome were used to bring an unusual world into existence, what would you want it to be? Basically the only requirement is that the world has to be special: it needs to show off the power of the tome by summoning a world that wouldn't otherwise be something Sora and company would encounter

 

Kingdom Hearts itself. Its been used in many ways, maybe it is time we see the place in physical form.

Either that, or a new stronghold for Xehanort or Maleficent.

Oh yeah no, I figure the tome will have a significant role in the story too, but I could see it being used to summon a less important world earlier on as an EXAMPLE of its power (you know, to establish what it can and can't do before it becomes important to the ending)

Why not one for both Xennahort and Maleficent?

Either that, creating a stronghold is a good way to show the power of the tome. Kingdom Hearts world can be the end world. I can't really see anything else.

ooh, they could have like

alternate Disney worlds

so they can tell stories that don't really work because the main villain of a world has been killed off or something

or like an alternate Twilight Town or Destiny Islands

But yeah, I figure it's more likely to be something outside the universe of KH, like another Square or Disney property

I'd kind of like it to be something abstract, like being able to take a look at worlds constructed of the hearts of others. Not necessarilly just the main cast, but maybe even some of the side characters you meet in the different worlds. Maybe to examine their psychosis or something like that.
