A strange Darkness from another universe has reached our universe, and our world. The Darkness has been in our world for almost three years now. It keeps on spreading, and now it has spread to our country of Ryoshima. As it spreads throughout the villages, towns, and even cities, monsters and diseases are killing people. The sun will even disappear, when it gets dark enough.

 

The people that the Darkness kills soul's become one with the darkness as well, so the more we lose, the more they gain. Everybody has just about give up. Until some people decide to fight the darkness, and get their country back.

 

It will not be an easy journey, but the Gods and Godesses of light has sent us someone who will help us: Hikari (Hikari means light in japanese). This person is genderless, but appears to be female. http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/img-thing?.out=jpg&size=l&tid=5894378

 

But... as if to strike back, the Gods and Goddeses of Darkness also sent a person to support the darkness: Yami (Yami means darkness in japanese). This person is also genderless, but appears to be male.

 

 

 

SO. Let the story begin.

 

Oki sat on the floor, with a book right in front of him. It was closed. He had been sitting there almost all day, except to eat breakfast. His grandparents had gave him the book. But, he had all the books his grandparents had almost ten times. ...I'm sick of this. I want out of the place. Some people have to do SOMETHING about this. He got up. And walked towards the door.

 

His grandma looked at him. "Where are you going?" She asked.

 

"...Anywhere out of this place." He opened the door, and walked outside. The sky was a dark gray, even though it was only 12:00 PM. There was black and red mist everywhere. Some of the red, though, was just blood from travelers who got killed while passing by.

 

Right now there was currently no monsters.. but there were corpses laying about.. they could rise as undead any minute. Oki wasn't surprised his grandparents weren't following him.. they were just two cowards, afraid of the darkness. He took a deep breath, and took a step forward into the darkness...

They started to walk around.Azura kept her guard up.The village seemed destroyed and hollow.Buildings burned out.Windows broken and glass scattered around.It send shivers down her spine.She just steared at the destroyed buildings.She felt she stepped on something.When she sees,it's a small doll.She picks it up."Oki...what do you...think that happened here?"Azura asks while stearing at the doll.

As Oki walked through the village, he looked around at this disaster. "Obviously the place has been attacked," He said. The village seemed lonely... too lonely. And quiet. The only sound this village would hear is roars from monsters from a distance, and a scream every once in a while. But, you could hear the faint sound of someone sharpening a knife from a ramshackle house. Travelers who actually survived this place would never enter this house.

 

As Oki continued to walk around, he got to a small cliff. He looked down from the cliff. There was a path from the other side, that lead down to the house. The house where that sound was coming from. "..." He turned around to look at Azura. "...Hear that?"

Azura started to shake sightly with goosebumps running up and down her spine.She hold on the small doll so it would not fall.She nodded."Y-Y-Yeah...they sound l-like kn-kn-knifes."Azura says.For the first time in years she has showned fear,at least in this kind of state."(Can't...stop...shaking...)"Azura thought.

"...Are you scared?" He asked. Without thinking he jumped off the cliff to where the house was. He didn't exactly get a good vibe from the place, but he wanted to see what was in the place. He looked up at Azura who was still standing where she was. He held his hand out for her, to help her down from the cliff. "...I'm here."

 

(He's such a cheater 8D./shot)

"(WHY?!WHY AM I SCARED?!I HAVEN'T BEEN LIKE THIS IN YEARS!!!!!)"Azura thought.Azura took his hand and walked down the cliff.When they got down they started to walk towards the house.The clashes of the knifes only getting louder.She swollowed and struggled to walk towards the house.One step to take harder than the other."(Why am I like this?What is this feeling?What is this place?!)"Azura thought.

Oki... had never let go of her hand. But he didn't notice it. "..." He let it go to reach for the door, and opened it. There was plenty of skulls lying on the ground. And now, the sound was just louder... but then, it stopped. Silence. Until Oki snapped his fingers, and a flame appeared in his hand. He knew something was up. Silence again.

 

The place was messy, dirt on the floor, the wall paint was fading, and sometimes they even saw.. blood drops on the floor.

Azura's eyes widen in fear as soon as she sees the scenary.She wasn't sure with was she afraid the most.Either the skulls,or the blood drops.Her heartstarted to beat faster and faster."(What the-?!What's happening to me?!I've never been like this before!!!That forest...something in there changed me.)"Azura thought.She was so scared,practically in the verge of tears."Oki...?"Azura says.

"...Hm?" He asked. Then they heard a creepy, and... well, weird sounding voice. "Hello travelers... have you come here seeking to rest...?"

 

Oki, hearing the voice coming out of nowhere, immediately started to say, "Shi-!", but didn't. His eyes widened once he saw an old lady with scratches all over her face, and her eyes seemed blank. Just like Oki's were that time he started to walk into the forest without reason.

 

"Um, no, we were just going," Oki said, and grabbed Azura's hand, pulling her out of the house.

 

(You can control her if you want to, cuz I wanted her to stop them but i couldn't think of anything.)

(OK,I'll be the creppy assasin lady!/shot.)

 

The door slamed shut before they could reach it.Azura looked back."My,my...you both look tired and weak..."The old lady says as she keeps coming toward them."You young man look like you need to eat.And you young lady look like you need a nap.Please...stay for one night...I can get...lonley around here."The old lady says getting even closer.Azura was so scared that it felt like her heart was about to stop.The old lady steared at Azura's eyes.Azura's eyes became dull and blank."Oki..."Azura says."Come on dear.Come with me..."The old lady says.Azura started to walk towards the old lady."(What's going on?!I can't control my body!!)"Azura thought.

Not seeing that her eyes were blank, "Azura! ...What the heck are you doing?!" He whispered. "..." He looked around, and blinked. He started to follow them without the lady knowing. (Gah.. it was all I could think of, sorreh. >.<)

"(Oki!Oki!Please!Stop me from doing this!Heavens knows what she could do!OKI!!!)"Azura thought.But it wasn't doing any help.Azura followed to a sort of lab.There were blood spattered all over the walls."(Oh f***.)"Azura thought.When all of them enter the room.The lady closes the door."(OK,NOW I'm scared.)"Azura thought."Oki..."Azura managed to say."(Darn it!She's stronger than I thought.)"The old lady thought."OK sweety.Now listen to me...I want you to take that knife,put it in your neck,and kill yourself."The old lady says."(WHAT?!)"Azura thought.Azura went towards the table about to pick the knife."(OH GOD_OKI!!!!!)"Azura kept screaming in her mind.

Oki kept following until the door slammed shut. He put his ear to it, he could hear them. Once he heard what the old lady had to say, his eyes widened. He busted the door open, and the old lady's head flung towards his direction. Her eyes turned to a blood-red color, and she took out her butcher knife. "We need our privacy," She said.

 

But Oki unsheathed his sword, and it burst into flames as soon as it was unsheathed, like it did earlier. "...Flaming sword beats knife any day." He said, smart-alecky. The old woman opened her mouth, showing her sharp fangs. She hissed. As darkness surrounded her, she turned into a demon. She had an extremely long sword instead now. She attempted to turn Oki's eyes blank to control him, but he resisted it... barely. He held a firm grip on his sword, ready for whatever the demon was about to do.

The demon steared at him."(He's strong willed...Now I wonder...)"The demon thinks.Azura had the knife on her neck,ready to slice."Sweety,put that down and come here."The demon says.Azura does as told and goes by her side.Her face is blanck and emotionless.Like the very beginning."Now listen to me.I want you to take this sword and kill him.But don't just kill him,rip his heart and bring it to me."The demon says as she hands over the sword to Azura.Azura turns and starts to walk towards Oki."(What am I doing?!NO!STOP!OKI!RUN!KILL ME!DO SOMETHING!I CAN'T CONTROL MYSELF!OKI!!!)"Azura yells in her thoughts."Don't...Oki...run...help me...Oki..."Azura says.

Oki's eyes widened. He saw her eyes, they were blank. He realized she must be under the control of that demon. He had to kill it in order to free her, he knew that for a fact. But how? With both of them trying to kill him and all...

 

He held his sword. He wasn't going to give up. He wasn't going to kill Azura either. He jumped on the wall and started to run on the sides of it, leaving a track of fire behind him. ...I didn't know I could do that either. He thought. He jumped off of the wall and pelted the demon with a number of fireballs, and landed. ...I need more skills than that. He thought. () He held the flaming sword and slashed at the demon.

The demon fell on its back."That's it!"The demon says.She starts to built up energy.She grabed Oki and was about to finish him off."(NO!I'm not!Gonna!)"Azura thought.She snapped out of it."Let you!"Azura says as she srikes with the sword straight in the heart.The demon screatched in pain and let Oki go."You little brat!"The demon says.The demon takes Azura and throws her against the wall.Azura screamed as she hits and falls.The demon yelled one more time,it turned into an old lady again.The she turned into dust.

Oki looked at the sand. "...Rest in peace, whoever you were." he said, talking to the old lady that was being controlled by this demon. Not the demon herself. He went over Azura and helped her up. "You okay?" He asked. Suddenly, the house that they were in just disappeared. They were still under that cliff, except now something was different. The nature in that part of the village, and even some other parts had been restored, since that demon haunting the town was killed. The grass was green again, the fountain that was next to the house's water turned pure again, and even some small animals roamed.

 

(G2g for a little while, dont worry, I won't be gone all night.)

Azura looked around.Part of the village was restored."Uh?How did this happen?"Azura asks.She looks at OKi."Oki!"Azura yells as she glomps him."Oki I'm sorry!I'm sorry!I'm sorry!I'm so sorry!She had me under her total control and I couldn't break free!I was screaming inside to stop but my body wouldn't react and the it picked the knife,then the sword and then...I'M SORRY OKI!!!Could you ever forgive me?!"Azura says as she hugs him.

When Azura hugged him, he was surprised. He froze for a second, then he looked at her. "..It's fine." He wrapped one arm around her torso, about to wrap the other around her... but then he realized. He was showing emotion. He let go of her, and started to walk away. "...Um. Guess we better get to work, eh..?"

Azura steared at him and smiled."Yeah,I guess we should."Azura says.She gets up."Just one more thing."Azura says.She takes out the doll that she had found before.She went over a rock and put the doll there.She closed her eyes and stood there for a minute.Then she went back to Oki."OK,we can go now."Azura says.She starts to follow Oki.

"Huh? What... what happened?" He asked. He looked at the doll that was on the rock. "Did you live here or something?" He asked.

(Again, all could think of for now. I know it was extremely short, I'm so sorry >.<)

Azura shook her head."No,but many people did live here.So many people are being killed by the darkness,that's hard to keep count on all of them.And with the darkness still around,I just thought that the souls of the people are stuck here too.I put that doll over there just in case the soul of it's owner was still missing her.I also prayed for those who fell to the darkness.I know it's wierd and unusual but,I just felt that I needed to do it before we go."Azura says with a smile."Well Oki,let's go."Azura says.

Amaya was still walking around. She saw Oki. She ran over to him, but she didn't know why she did. She stood there feeling dumb because she had no clue why she ran over to him.She turned around and walked away."Gosh I feel dumb just for running over to him and then walking away."She thought. She tightly held her fist that had the water symbol on it.

 

(Idk)

"Oh. Well, that's good, I guess." Oki answered when Amaya ran over to him and then walked away. "...Um? Can I help you with something?" He asked her, but she was already walking away. He looked at Azura. "Do you know her?" He asked.

 

(I guess we need to wait for IXLXVX to restore the village >.<)

Amaya kept on walking. She felt really dumb running over to him and then walking away."Why did I even walk over there?"She thought to herself. She kept walking around and then she stopped and held her hand up and summoned a ball of water to her hands. She just took the little ball of water and tossed it into the air. It sparkled when it was tossed into the air then it fall slowly to the ground.

Azura looked at the girl walking away."I don't thinki so.I don't really know.Sorry."Azura says.She had a wierd feeling."Um,I-I think we should continue,unless you want to go and ask her something."Azura says.She had a wierd feeling in her head and just wanted to keep walking.
