A strange Darkness from another universe has reached our universe, and our world. The Darkness has been in our world for almost three years now. It keeps on spreading, and now it has spread to our country of Ryoshima. As it spreads throughout the villages, towns, and even cities, monsters and diseases are killing people. The sun will even disappear, when it gets dark enough.

 

The people that the Darkness kills soul's become one with the darkness as well, so the more we lose, the more they gain. Everybody has just about give up. Until some people decide to fight the darkness, and get their country back.

 

It will not be an easy journey, but the Gods and Godesses of light has sent us someone who will help us: Hikari (Hikari means light in japanese). This person is genderless, but appears to be female. http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/img-thing?.out=jpg&size=l&tid=5894378

 

But... as if to strike back, the Gods and Goddeses of Darkness also sent a person to support the darkness: Yami (Yami means darkness in japanese). This person is also genderless, but appears to be male.

 

 

 

SO. Let the story begin.

 

Oki sat on the floor, with a book right in front of him. It was closed. He had been sitting there almost all day, except to eat breakfast. His grandparents had gave him the book. But, he had all the books his grandparents had almost ten times. ...I'm sick of this. I want out of the place. Some people have to do SOMETHING about this. He got up. And walked towards the door.

 

His grandma looked at him. "Where are you going?" She asked.

 

"...Anywhere out of this place." He opened the door, and walked outside. The sky was a dark gray, even though it was only 12:00 PM. There was black and red mist everywhere. Some of the red, though, was just blood from travelers who got killed while passing by.

 

Right now there was currently no monsters.. but there were corpses laying about.. they could rise as undead any minute. Oki wasn't surprised his grandparents weren't following him.. they were just two cowards, afraid of the darkness. He took a deep breath, and took a step forward into the darkness...

Sophie's jaw dropped. "OHMYGOSH HE CAN TALK!!!!" She brushed her hair back. "Okay, so now that we've determined you are capable of speech, do you have a name?" She glanced at the sword. Well, he wasn't touching it. And, technically, he'd saved them from the monster, so there was a good chance he wasn't going to kill them. She thought about how truly sad it was every time she met someone her first thought was, 'are they going to kill me or not?'. Then again, after all that had happened, it was better to be careful, and you didn't meet that many people, anyway. Ones not trying to destroy you, at least. She looked back at the entrance for a second. The fog looked espescially red tonight. Not that she wanted to think about WHY.

kijoko didnt say another word he just sat there he could hear the monste'rs killing peoply from he was even when other;'s couldnt hear thing's he could he just sat there with his eye's cloused....thos thing's will die..and why are this girl's here any way..he face was looking at the fire but his eye's whernt he didnt hve his sword in hand it was beside him he didnt grab it it just sat there then he was thinking about something but blaked it out for a while he keep his power down not showign it he sat there lookign cold even when there w as a fire

Azura looked as they were started to be sorrounded by monsters.Azura took out a sword,but saw that Spohie didn't have a weapon."Um,Sophie.Sticks are the same as swords right?Only that swords are much sharper,but,still the same,right?"Azura asks."I...guess."Sophie says."Well then,here."Azura says as she hands Sophie her sword."But,how will you fight?"Sophie asks."Don't worry,I got that covered."Azura says.When one of the monsters got near,Azura threw a lighting bolt at it.It got destroyed.The started to fight.

Sophie sighed. "Oh, boy, are we going to go through this again? Come on, Azura, forget it. I have to find my hideout before it gets too dark, anyway. I wonder if there are any more sticks I could use..." She ducked out of the mini cave-thingy, even though she was kind of annoyed by having absolutely zero answers. Why were there so many people out lately? I mean, usually it was absolutely deserted, people too afraid to leave their homes for fear of being killed. She grabbed a branch off of the ground. Smart people, Sophie thought as a monster slipped out from behind a tree. She slashed with her stick, ducked, and slashed again, and the monster collapsed. "I am a little sick of the stick thing." Sophie agreed, taking Azura's sword, and remembered what Hikari had said, and reached her hand out slowly. The earth closed in around the monster. She stared, excited and slightly baffled at the same time. Was this what she'd been talking about? The powers of the gods and goddesses, given to her?

Edit: I am amazing to have typed that so fast on an iPhone. Yay!

kijoko sat there as the monster's started to attack the two tehy where all missing with his peac he had anof of them from there he didnt stayd up he pointed a finger near the monster then he cloused his hand into a fist and pointed one finger back up and the monster's where detroyed as he did it..pest that's al they are all of them..there just angering me now...as he keep his head down lookign at the floor then he looked at the fire with his face he knew the girl's had left the cave as he was siting there

Sophie was excited, and started playing with her new power. "Haha, this is so cool!" She exclaimed, and twirled her index finger. All of the trees spun, looking funny and twisted, like out of a little kid's coloring book. "That's awesome," She amended, and waved at Azura. "I have to go. I'll never be able to find my way back if I don't leave now." She glanced back at the cave. "Bye, mystery kid. Just so you know, I don't like being ignored."

Azura watches in amazement."(How did she do that?!Was she gifted by the gods and godesses as well?)"Azura thought.Azura snaped out of her tought when a creature sratched her leg.She made a lighting sphere and threw it at the creature.The she put her hand in the sky and concintrated.Suddenly some lighting bolts came falling down and destroyed some creatures.But more kept appearing.

"Oh, boy," Sophie muttered. "This looks fun." She glanced at the sky. "We better hurry." There was barely any light in the day, let alone at night. It was impossible to see, making it impossible to find your way home. Making it very easy for any monster that felt like it to attack you. The ground closed up around some of the monsters, pulling them down. She waved Azura's sword, and attacked another monster. When she looked back, her eyes widened and she screamed. "AZURA! DUCK!"

kijoko just sat there ever time a monster got read to attack him it was pushed back by smethign ..poor weak..thing's i should kill you but i dont much care your not what im looking for and im about to leave this place in a few minut's any soo go ahead and kill thos girl'shis face still didnt changeas he moved his neck a little still keepign his eye's cloused

Azura looked behind her.Her eyes widen to see a giant creature charging at her.She jumps out of the way,but the force of thehit makes her litterly fly and hit a few trees,knocking them down.Azura gets up."Ow..."Azura says.She looks at the creature."Time to give this power a test drive."Azura says.She rubs her hands making sparks.She gets near the creature and touches it,giving it a disscharge.But there was one problem,she was running out of energy faster than before."Sophie!Hurry!Kill this thing!NOW!"Azura yells.

Before they knew it... the monster got impacted with a rather large fireball. Oki walked into the scene. I think I can master this now... don't mess this up Okikurmi... He put his hands together and shot another large fireball at the monster.

Sophie blew the hair out of her face. "Thanks, I guess, King Fireball. My name's Sophie, and this is Azura." She glanced back at Azura, who'd flown backwards and slammed into the tree. "Are you okay?" She nodded. "Yeah, I'm fine. Just a little...dizzy..." Sophie smiled, and looked back at King Fireball. "What's your name?"

Etsumi summoned ice wind, freezing everything within 20 feet of her. She laughed. "Now the forest's shiny!!!!!" Then she frowned. She turned her head as she heard a boom. She ran towards it.

kijoko stood up and when he did the fire blow out he moved his neck with his eye's still cloused and started walkign out of the cave he had no use for staying there even if it was raining it was getting dark and he could smell blood in teh air was he left walking..death come's to all..as he whent into the darkness of the forest leaveign the cave wit out a sound he jumped in a tree and started jumping from tree to tree

Sophie looked up in surprise. Mystery Possibly-Blind-But-Definately-Not-Deaf Boy was leaping from tree to tree. "Whoa, that's so cool!" Azura looked up, too. "Well, I guess he decided to ditch us." "We'd already established that much." She frowned. She needed to get back before it got too dark, but she'd finally met other human beings. Finally, after at least a year--she hadn't kept track of time other than surviving the present--there were other people. And now she was just going to walk away? That was dumb. "Hey, Azura, where are you hiding? I mean, you're not up in a tree or something, right?" She laughed. (BTW, yes, that sig is cool, Darklunatic)

"To be sincere,I'm not sure.I've been fighting against this things for the last year just to get stronger,and I move a lot and sleept in different places,since my house was destroyed..."Azura says."So,I don't have a specific place."Azura says.She looks up to the sky."My brother died.Now I have no idea where do I belong..."Azura says.

Sophie admitted eventually. "My entire family was killed. I don't think past getting through the next five minutes. I want to get rid of the darkness here, because I want a purpose again. I didn't have much of one before all of this, but now I can't...I'm not sure what to do. I keep telling myself I'll get rid of the darkness, make things right, but I just don't know HOW." 'Hikari knows, though. She knows, if I could somehow find her again and ask her...' Sophie thought.

(it's differt programm's you can download from differt sit's that you can use to make sig's and other thing's just find a site and you can download one of them)kijoko was walkign in the darkness he handed opend his eye's seen seeing his litle sister's body and her grave he remberd the flower he had put in his pocket he pulledit out and lit it get a little rain drop then pput it back up he moved his eck and started walking to the next town to where the next fight should be but somemonster's came out and tryed to attack him but when they did somethign hit them and they where killed kijoko knew what it was soo he pushed his power down again and started moving

The way Azura had used those lightning bolts--had Hikari given her powers, too? But...she didn't seem to know who Hikari was. Unless she was lying... She shook her head. Nah, it was some wierd fluke or something. Still... "I wish I could ask them what's going on." "Who's 'them'?" Azura asked. "The gods and goddesses. The gods and goddesses who gave their powers to us." Well, Sophie thought as soon as she'd said it, that probably wasn't the smartest thing to say.

"Yeah,I wish I could ask them too."Azura says."But I know one thing.That if the god and goddesses gave us these powers,it was for a reason.And I think that reason,is to fight against the darkness."Azura says."Sophie,I want to make this powers worth while,by defeating the darkness.So what do you say?"Azura asks.Streatching her hand towards her.And for the first time in years.She smiles.

Sophie smiled back at Azura. "You know what I'm talking about." Azura nodded. "That thing you were doing early...twisting up the ground and stuff--" "That was my gift." She smiled proudly. Sophie pulled up her torn sleeve to show her shoulder, to reveal a dimly glowing mark. A wolf's face. "I don't know where, but I know what. We have to find Hikari."

Her smile return to her normal expression.She looked at the wolf mark on Sophie's arm."(Awsome wolf!)"Azura thought.Then she realized that she was starting to goof off.She hsakes her head and looks at her mark."(I guess we are gifted...)"Azura thinks.Then she asks."By the way,who's Hikari?"Azura asked.

(THANK YOU DARKLUNATIC!!!! ) Sophie looked at Azura, surprised. "You don't know who Hikari is?" Then she laughed. "Well, I don't know too well, either, but she's the one who came and gave me my powers. She must have given you your powers, too. She said that they were gifts from the gods and goddesses." She explained, and looked around. "I need to find her to ask why. I mean, why did we get these powers? Just to keep ourselves alive? Why would GODS AND GODDESSES give up some of their powers for us? There has to be a reason and I want to know what it is. Why are we so special?"
