A strange Darkness from another universe has reached our universe, and our world. The Darkness has been in our world for almost three years now. It keeps on spreading, and now it has spread to our country of Ryoshima. As it spreads throughout the villages, towns, and even cities, monsters and diseases are killing people. The sun will even disappear, when it gets dark enough.

The people that the Darkness kills soul's become one with the darkness as well, so the more we lose, the more they gain. Everybody has just about give up. Until some people decide to fight the darkness, and get their country back.

It will not be an easy journey, but the Gods and Godesses of light has sent us someone who will help us: Hikari (Hikari means light in japanese). This person is genderless, but appears to be female. http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/img-thing?.out=jpg&size=l&tid=5894378

But... as if to strike back, the Gods and Goddeses of Darkness also sent a person to support the darkness: Yami (Yami means darkness in japanese). This person is also genderless, but appears to be male. Posted Image

SO. Let the story begin.

Oki sat on the floor, with a book right in front of him. It was closed. He had been sitting there almost all day, except to eat breakfast. His grandparents had gave him the book. But, he had all the books his grandparents had almost ten times. ...I'm sick of this. I want out of the place. Some people have to do SOMETHING about this. He got up. And walked towards the door.

His grandma looked at him. "Where are you going?" She asked.

"...Anywhere out of this place." He opened the door, and walked outside. The sky was a dark gray, even though it was only 12:00 PM. There was black and red mist everywhere. Some of the red, though, was just blood from travelers who got killed while passing by.

Right now there was currently no monsters.. but there were corpses laying about.. they could rise as undead any minute. Oki wasn't surprised his grandparents weren't following him.. they were just two cowards, afraid of the darkness. He took a deep breath, and took a step forward into the darkness...

"Yo! King Fireball-Oki!" Sophie snapped. "What is UP with you? Where we you GOING? We're in the middle of absolutely NOWHERE. We can't split up--what if another monster appears? If it was anything like the ones earlier, none of us could take them on alone. It'd be a hopeless fight." She laughed weakly. 'Just like this is' Sophie thought. Sure, she desperately, truly did want the darkness away from her home. She would do anything to make it happen. But she knew it was impossible, or dang close. They were ordinary, homeless, orphaned kids. There were no other options for them. Eventually the darkness and monsters would catch up with them. This was a weak light of hope they were dying for. And it probably led nowhere. They'd be obliterated by darkness. Even if King Fireball-Oki's theory was right... that they were uncorruptable by darkness... they were still crazy for trying. She smiled, wider, to herself. Well, crazy as it was, she wasn't being crazy alone.

He sighed. Of course I'm nothing more than 'King Fireball' to her. He started to walk past her. He didn't even remember walking into the forest, but somehow he didn't acknowledge that he wasn't where he was just a few minutes ago. "...I don't know hat your talking about." He said stubbornly, and continued to walk back out of the forest.

kijoko couldnt keep it up for ever ..danmit this thing's have great D but i cant use my power my sister hated when i used it soo il have to beat them like this..one of them came under him and used ther back to filng him uphe used it as a silg shot he jumpe he was in the air it was dark now..thos kid's will die ...and this thing's are soo noise less they cant haer them..they are very good fighter's two of them came at him at once then one form under him he sawthe one nder him and he let his self drop when he was fallign he was gonigot puch it but then it cloouse it's mouth and when into ta whole kijoko feel down but when he landed he it hit a hand stayd and spon on to his feet he sawthat more monster's where coming but then they stoped and started heading for the forest

"Hey!" Sophie protested. "What do you mean you don't know what I'm talking about? What were you going to do?" She demanded. Why was he lying? Was he hiding something from her and Azura? Sophie shook her head. Nah, she was just being overly, annoyingly, stupidly paranoid. She could trust King Fireball-Oki and Azura. The Gods and Goddesses wouldn't gift anyone who was evil or mean or anything. Sophie cocked her head, waiting for an answer. He was going to give her one, or have his head smashed into a rock. Okay, well, maybe she was just a LITTLE mean. But her leaderlyness sometimes took over.

Oki turned his head to her. "...I don't know. Listen, let's just get some sleep." He continued to walk to the place where they were. He put some rocks and sticks together in a circle, and started a fire with his magic. He laid down next to the fire and closed his eyes.

Sophie frowned unhappily. What did he mean he didn't know? Reluctantly, she grabbed a branch, pulling herself up. She flicked her fingers. Pincones rained down from the tree, all missing her and Azura, all hitting King Fireball-Oki on the head. "Ow!" He yelled. Sophie smiled, and after Azura realized it was Sophie who'd done it, she started laughing. "I haven't had a real reason to laugh in a long time!" She started laughing, too. Every time they tried to stop, they saw the expression on King Fireball-Oki's face, and laughed even harder.

Oki got up and sighed. He moved to where there were no trees above him and sat down. But... he couldn't sleep now, for some reason. He was thinking about all that was going on... and one particular thing stuck on his mind: Sophie. He usually didn't think of anyone else just normally. He had a kind of... affection for Sophie. But how? They just met.

He sighed again... and glanced at the lake. ...He remembered how it shined at night, it was beautiful. Now it was almost all dried up, and it was.. dull.

(Sorry I posted so late! D; )

Amaya finished training by the lake after quiet sometime trying to learn new things with her power of water. She looked at the forest that was just north of where she was. She stared to walk towards it. She didn't know why but something was telling her to go there. So that is what she did. Soon she was in the forest just walking around.

(Sorry this is all I could come up with too)

Sophie stared at the woods. She got madder and madder with every minute that passed. The sky was red because of the darkness, the world was black because of it. She wondered if she'd ever see the beautiful orange and red sunset again. Or a meadow, like the one in her dream, filled with flowers and butterflies. She wondered if anything would ever be SAFE again. Sophie glared at the dark forest. She understood Azura's and King Fireball-Oki's theories. She understood they were probably right the Gods and Goddesses weren't powerful enough to destroy the darkness alone. So why did they just give away MORE of their powers? Wouldn't that make them even MORE weaker and even MORE vulnerable? What was the point? Or were they hiding behind them for a reason? Were they...SCARED?

Azura yawn and looked down.Oki was just about to fall asleep and Sophie was still awake."*yawn*Sophie? What the heck are you doing still up?You need to rest in order to gain strenght.Something bothering you?"Azura asked.Azura was starting to get worried.Sophie was still confused about the God and Godesses and she couldn't concentrate very well bacause of it.

Sophie kept staring into the darkness. It took her a moment to realize that Azura had been talking to her. "Huh? What?" Azura frowned. "Sophie, is something bothering you?" Sophie blinked. "Huh? No, I'm fine. I just...um, don't feel like sleeping." She lied. By Azura's expression, she wasn't very convinced. "REALLY. I am," Sophie insisted. "It's nothing."

Azura kept stearing at her fo a few more moments."Fine.But when you fall asleep while we're walking and you roll down a hill, then hit a few trees then fall into the ocean where a whale if going to eat you and the throw you out and you fall into a garden of roses and throns.Don't blame me."Azura says as she falls asleep.

Sophie couldn't even manage to laugh. "That wouldn't happen, anyway," She protested weakly. "Remember? All of those trees and thorns would SAVE me." Azura laughed lightly, and rolled over, falling asleep. "I'm the last one up." Sophie sighed. "I guess that makes me guard. That'll be my excuse to Azura, at least." She grabbed the branch she was sitting on and swung lithely down to the ground. What was that sound? She leaned forward, listening. Sophie almost called the fireflies to her again, but decided not to draw attention to herself. Okay, what WAS that? A...buzzing? It was about an inch from her face, panting hard, before Sophie realized what was happening. It let out a low growl, and she turned and scrambled up the tree. "AZURA! KING FIREBALL-OKI! WAKE UP!" "Huh?" Azura mumbled tiredly. "Sophie--" "RUN!"

Oki had been awake the whole time, just sitting there, thinking. Then he heard them screaming. "Hm?" He turned to see Sophie scrambling up a tree. He got up. "What are you doing up there?" Then he heard the buzz and the growl too. He unsheathed his sword, that was strapped to his back. "What is that..?"

kijoko stood there thos thing's where surroundign him into a corner..danmit i dont wont to use it ...it made my sister cry if it wasnt for it she..we would have spent more time togther.he looked at how they had him traped he felt one of them beneth him..mybe i can use it..he didnt jump then when the thing poped up he tryed to jump but another one came from abouv himi soo he jumped fourward's he mad it past them then eh jumped onto p of one of the detoryed buidlign..brign it you danm basterd's

Azura heard it too.She looked around but couldn't see anything."Think it's a bear?"Azura suggested. Then they hear loud footsteps.VERY loud footsteps."OK...definetly not a bear..."Azura says as she gets ready for anything. She keepss looking around."(Who or what is it?)"Azura thought.

Sophie screamed as loud as she could. Even when she was madly attacking the monster. It swiped, and she ducked under its reach. 'Okay, Sophie' She thought to herself. 'You're being a baby. Toughen up. STOP SCREAMING!' Sophie's throat burned, and she stopped. She grabbed a leaf, and in her mind commanded more to attatch themselves to the one she was holding. She started running in circles around the monster. It looked down at her, half-surprised, half-annoyed. "Sophie! What are you doing!?" Azura screamed, but Sophie kept running. Eventually, annoyance won out and the monster roared again, trying to step forward. But...it was rooted in place. It roared in frustration. Sophie finished circling it a final time, and criss-crossed the rope between two trees. "That should hold him for a little bit." She approved, and looked a Azura and King Fireball-Oki. "Well? RUN!"

kijoko was bord of the pest but they would give him ananswer's to his hous he kicked one of them and send a shock wave thorw it and it hit another one but they got back up soon after..is there no end to them...wait a second there's soomehting under me somethign big but in many number'd that make it big.. one o them came form behind him and he puched it they clashed and it sounded like thunder striking the other's where detorying what was left of the villega and the village's where all hiding away fro the place then everthign trun looking at kijoko all of them charged him he jumpe up but one came form a top of him and he spon around and ran on it's side then another one tryed to attack him but only hit th other one he was runing on then he jumped off it he was stayign on top of the church loking bulidng lookkng at them..this wont stop them for long the noise they where makign was sounding lound they let out a sreech kijoko heardi t it was pain fl but then they stoped and started tryign to bash the church down it was lolound

"Nah," Oki disagreed. He wouldn't leave till the monster was defeated. Him and his stubborn self... with his flaming sword, he jumped up to the tied up monster and stabbed it through the chest, killing it. He felt a sense of pride flow through him. He smiled faintly, but then wiped the smile off of his face. He didn't want to show any emotions.

"Well," He started, and looked towards Sophie and Azura. "That takes care of that," He said.

Azura stared at him for a second."Um,hey,Sophie,um.I need to tell you something in private.Girl stuff, you wouldn't understand Oki."Azura says as she drags Sophie away from Oki."Listen, somethings wrong with Oki.He's bearly showing any emotion. That is not normal."Azura whispered."But you didn't use to show any emotions either Azura."Sophie whispered back."That's not the point. We need to keep a watchful eye on him.Understand?"Azura asks.

"Uh... whatever." He replied, and leaned against a tree. He wondered what they were talking about, but ah well. He took out his sword, Xeru and looked at it. "When this sword glows a bright blue... something special is supposed to happen, right...?" He asked himself out loud but quietly. He was remembering what his father said... he said something like that to him when he was young, but something specific was supposed to happen first, and then something good would happen after. He didn't remember all the details. He sheathed his sword and waited.

Sophie blinked, surprised at what Azura was saying. But agreeing, none the less. "Well, he seemed okay to me at first. Then when he did that thing last night..." Sophie shook her head. "It was like he was in a trance of something." Azura nodded, and then laughed. "Why are you laughing?" Sophie whispered. "Play along," She giggled to Sophie. She laughed weakly, and then turned to King Fireball-Oki. "Right, you totally wouldn't have wanted to hear. TOTAL girl talk," (On my iPhone again, sorry for the shorter posts!)

BTW, I have to go to soccer camp soon. You can play Sophie for me, just don't let her get killed. (AND DON'T LEAVE HER OUT! xD)

"Anywho,we need to get going. The sun is already starting to come out."Azura says as she points at the horizon."We could go along the forest,or we can follow a path to the next villege.Either way,we need to become stronger.Wherre do you think we should go Oki?"Azura asks.

kijoko looked at them..the sun is coming out all ready..they keep me here to stop me form getting somewhere..tehy where still trying ot break down the church they let out that sreec agian and the building started to fall kijoko jumped down then he ran up to one of them and spon around tryign to kick it but it whent back into the gorund he looked areound all of them where oging back into the ground but one of them stayd out...so they are tryingto keep me here a oittle longerhe still had his eye's cloused they had all left but that one ten it sunck into the gorund they where still below him somwhere he didnt like it he started walkign to where he was going

Oki scratches his head... "Well, for now I think the forest needs to be restored again. But we could come back later, I guess." He says. He starts to walk out of the forest, not really considering which direction he was going.

Eventually they got to a village named Taki. It was also a cursed zone. He sighed. They needed to restore this place at least, instead of just travelling, not doing anything or they wouldn't get anywhere. He started to walk, looking around the place... shadows could leap out any second.
