It is. Its just as popular as the Lion King (maybe even more) and its doing perfectly well financially.

Lion King was shoved in peoples faces a lot, Frozen is the same. Its really not that bad. I see it can get annoying tho.

That's just it, it's Disney's biggest hit since The Lion King. As a result, most people nowadays that have to put up with the Frozen hype aren't old enough to have seen it before with The Lion King or any of the popular films that preceded it.

A lot of the people at my school have seen the other films (Lion King included, who didn't watch that) and really really like Frozen.

It was probably the same during the Lion King era, people who just saw LK loved it so much despite not seeing the rest of the films.

I don't get why people think they aren't allowed to like more than one disney film, you can like the new ones with the old ones. They are just Disney films.

I really don't get some of the stuff with Frozen. Like how everyone was saying to Anna "you just met him and you'll get married"? 

 

Erm, what about all the previous movies? It's not like they got married immediately yeah but almost all fall in love very quickly.

I wonder how many people wouldn't shut up about Lion King when it came out. For all we know, Hakuna Matata and Be Prepared were the Let It Go and Do You Want to Build a Snowman of yesteryear.

People seriously think that? That's freaking stupid tbh. Basically every Disney movie is about a fiesty independent woman.
