Near the outskirts of Itiner Town, a newly completed building now stood for all to see. The building was fairly large, with an underground floor making for even more space. The entrance was in the shape of a Sylveon's head, with a sign above the door reading "Sylveon's Exploration Guild." Outside this building, a group of Pokemon had gathered, waiting to meet with their new guild leader and receive missions. This was an important day for everyone gathered: Today was their first day as part of Sylveon's Guild.

 

Tide was about to burst with excitement. Aw, man... I can't believe it! I'm going to get to go adventuring soon, and I'll meet Sylveon today! I wonder what amazing place I'll visit first, or who I'll end up on a team with...? He looked around the crowd of Pokemon, trying to see if there was anyone in particular who caught his eye. They all seem like tough Pokemon... I think I'd be okay with joining any of them! He was clearly grinning, in whatever way is possible for a small reptilian Pokemon. He began pacing back and forth while thinking, trying to expel some of his energy. Being a Totodile, he was naturally energetic. He did have a lot more calm moments than most Pokemon of his species did, but at the same time, the anticipation of meeting his hero and going on adventures with her kept him from being able to remain calm.

Rustle... rustle... The grass flowed and swished as a certain Pokemon had been running late... Zyliph held his tail back and his legs arched, like his dad had shown him, and with it he rushed, electricity pulsating from him wildly, it happened when he would focus to hard, and couldn't be helped, but he rolled with it. "Today's the day I start making my family proud!" He thought, though a few burrs stuck to his small paws, it couldn't be helped, he couldn't be bothered to stop, and they weren't too pointy... he rushed head first, barely looking at where he was going untIL he rushed right past a Totodile, the slipstream behind him pulling him to the ground quickly as it started, but issue came when Zyliph saw the building and tried to slow down. Or stop, for that matter. After the dust settled, Zyliph rubbed his head, trying to soothe the pain, only for the burrs to transfer to his forehead and left eye. "Ow ow ow ow ow!" He yelled, coping someone would help the poor guy out.

"...Out of the waaaaaaayyyy!!!" A few of the pokemon turned only to jump to the sides, dodging a running Vulpix with a necklace. Ah not again. It could only be Midnah. It was generous and kind of Arcanine to have adopted the young vulpix in it's most delicate hour. Everyone respected such decision. However it was in times like this that some kind of wished that it would've been a more peaceful pokemon than this bouncing fur ball of energy and spunk. Stopping right before she ended up hitting the building wall, Midnah barely hit the breaks just in time, leaving a small amount of dust behind along with a trace of dirt beneath her paws. She would be part of a rescue team! Needless to say she was very happy. Equally as happy but not as showful was little Kiel, who stood quietly while staring up at the building and then back around at the pokemon around him. There were so many ready to become part of rescue teams! If there was a competition between teams it would be a difficult one. Not only that, but the horns on his head could sense every emotion of the pokemon around him. They were so varied and strong, it was overwhelming for him. "(How scary!)" Kiel thought as he held his head with his tiny hands.

He quickly hopped back up, and looked in the direction where the Shinx seemed to have crashed... Into the building. The building seemed fine, but Tide was worried about the Pokemon. He ran to the Shinx, and tried to help him stand up again. He noticed that the Pokemon had rubbed his face, and seemed to have some burrs stuck. "Oh, uh... Need some help with those?" He asked.

???: Hey! Wait!

*A little yellow Pikachu was rushing to the building. He knew he was somehow late due to oversleeping. He hurried to where the other Pokémon were. Once he stopped, he was catching his breath, carrying a red scarf around his neck. This was Alex for you. He had a few minutes after Midnah.*

"*pant* *pant* Did I miss anything?" *Alex noticed the little Shinx on the ground.*

"Are you okay? Here, let me help you."

Alex helped Zyliph get up.

Tide was suddenly knocked to the gorund after a Shinx nearly knocked him over. "Aah!" He screamed as he fell on his back. He quickly hopped back up, and looked in the direction where the Shinx seemed to have crashed... Into the building. The building seemed fine, but Tide was worried about the Pokemon. He ran to the Shinx, and tried to help him stand up again. He noticed that the Pokemon had rubbed his face, and seemed to have some burrs stuck. "Oh, uh... Need some help with those?" He asked.

"Please! These things are so pointy!" Zyliph said in reply, flailing about trying to find some way of unsticking the burrs.

(Yeah. I figured. Might as well try )

"Sylveon's Exploration Guild, this is it alright" said Vee as she saw the big Sylveon building. Vee closed her eyes for a moment "Ever since Sylveon saved me from that Scyther I made it my dream to join them & create a peaceful world for all pokemon. Now that I'm joining them I'll show Sylveon that I too can be a great leader that can save & help pokemon. & in time I'll hopefully find the best way to go about creating a peaceful world for all pokemon. When that time comes maybe then even Sylveon will praise me, hehe. & I won't forget that dream anytime soon as is scar across my left eye will remind me thanks to that stupid Scyther that gave me this scar" said Vee to herself ignoring everything around her as if she was in some kind of trance.

Alex looked over to the little Evee. He walked over to her, hoping to make friends.

"I couldn't help over hear well....Everything you said. Hehehe! So you know Sylveon?"

Kuro was a Zorua, and like all Zoruas, she was trying to cause some trouble. However sadly Kuro's friend Len wouldn't let her.

"I know that this Exploration Guild is supposed to help us learn to explore, but can't I play around a little?" she asked, her tail swishing behind her and Kuro tilting her head. 

"The guild." Len murmured with a huge grin. The excitement he felt inside was insurmountable to anything else he had ever felt before. His hands jittered with the intense excitement that was building up. This was it! The very next step to his goal! He could do it, he'd join this guild, and become the best Pokemon!

His train of thought was interrupted, though, by Kuro's sudden words, "Well, this is a serious guild! We can't just play around! We've got missions to do and 'mon to help!"

Dylan walked nonchalantly towards the group, a twig sticking out of his mouth. He wasn't really enthusiastic about working with anyone. He decided to lean back from the bunch for now. Sylveon's Guild, huh? I'll make it to the top.

Clearly unlike the other Pokemon near him, Champ was a more composed creature; the Tyrouge stood with his arms crossed over his chest and wearing a focused expression, stationed by himself and away from the others. He was not in the mood to mingle, nor really participate in anything that the small group near him was getting into, taking note of their "antics" out of the corner of his left eye, especially considering that they would be joining him in exploring the Mystery Dungeons. All he cared about at the moment was his own agenda.

 

No matter what gets in my way, even if I have to knock some heads around-, he took another glance at the group near him,-I will become stronger, and beat down whatever will come my way in the dungeons, he thought as his gaze grew more noticeably intense.

"This is going to be fun and a big adventure." Kuro said with a purr.

She looked behind to Dylan.

"Isn't this gonna be fun Dylan?" She asked.

"I guess, as long as I'm with you two." Dylan shrugged. "What should we name our team?"

"I don't know, what do you think Len?" Kuro asked.

A Riolu, Zorua, and Treeko. A good variety of types and moves. This was going to be the best team ever.

"Please! These things are so pointy!" Zyliph said in reply, flailing about trying to find some way of unsticking the burrs. (think Tide got this one...)

"Hm... If I knew Water Gun, I could try and use that to wash them off... I guess I'll have to do this the tough way!" He tried to brush them off with his... paw? It wasn't very comfortable, but he was careful about removing them, which helped ensure he didn't end up having the same problem. "I've got them off your forehead... Not sure what to do about your eye, though." He sighed. "Unless I end up touching your eye, we might need help from someone else." He tried looking around to see if anyone else could help out, and noticed a Tyrogue standing off by himself.

Champ's thoughts were broken and his expression softened a little when a Totodile approached him, asking him to help with a problem concerning a Shinx.

 

"Why are you asking me? Is it because unlike you, I actually have fingers?" Champ coldly joked, crossing his arms and putting his hands by his side, showing off that he indeed have fingers, three on each hand. He wasn't one for humor, but he figured that he would at least do something to ease his misfortune of being around people like the Totodile before him.

Champ's thoughts were broken and his expression softened a little when a Totodile approached him, asking him to help with a problem concerning a Shinx. "Why are you asking me? "I don't care what you have, just help me for the love of Arceus!" The little Shinx yelled, crying in pain every so often.

"Hold on a second."

Alex, seeking an opportunity to help out, went over to Tide. " Maybe I could help! I've got fingers....sort of." He really wanted to help the little Shinx. Electric types stick together on his view.

Len glanced at his two partners. A Riolu, Zorua, and a Treecko. A pretty odd team, but their had to be a name for them! Something cool....something that would really show them off as an S-Rank Team!

"Uhm, we can be Team.....ReZoluTion! Y'know, like Resolution, but with a Z since we have a Zorua on our side."

Dylan's mouth fell wide open, his twig hitting the ground. "That..... was genius."

"That sounds awesome!" Kuro smiled.

"We are team ReZoluTion here to solve your problems!" She announced.

"It sounds good."

Alex went to see the little Shinx. He did have little fingers, but it's the least he could do. I've got to be careful. I don't want to hurt the little guy's eye. He carefully and slowly got the burrs stick that was in Zypher's eye. Of course he seemed to be a bit nervous, but he couldn't stop there. He was very careful...And as soon he got the burrs stick, he sighed with relief. "Feel better, little guy?"

Tide was unaffected by the Tyrogue's teasing. "Hey, at least I've got a tail and sharp teeth." He pointed out, before quickly remembering the more important matter at the moment. "That's not the point, though! We need to help the Shinx so he-" He was cut off when he noticed a Pikachu arrive to help pull the burrs out of Zyliph's eye. "That works, too. Thanks!" He grinned at the Pikachu.

"Hmph." Champ turned away from the Totodile and the others. "Looks like your problem is solved. Now leave me alone." Champ added discouragingly, walking away from the blue reptilian Pokemon.
