Vox 94 Posted January 10, 2015 Extension from HMK's latest theory on Xehanort burning 100 acre wood: To expand from that I thought on a full fledged scenario of Radiant Garden in KH3. Now in KH2 we discovered Radiant Garden is where Ansem and Xehanort did their research and the main story arc of the world was getting rid of the Heartless and restoring the town's true name. In KH3, as we embark onto the world map there will be a distress signal emitting from Hollow Bastion. Once you land there, Sora Donald and Goofy see the horror that is the destruction of Radiant Garden. The town is destroyed, heartless, nobodies and unversed (assuming Vanitas is in the new Org. XIII) are running amuck. Leon and Yuffie are beat up and passed out on the ground. The gang recovers them and they tell Sora to hurry to the castle. On the way there, Merlin's house is seen wrecked and the wizard informs Sora that the organization stole the book. Once you reach a certain area of the world (I'm picturing the Restoration Site in reference to the first organization encounter in KH2; or the Postern for the sake of it being at the castle) the organization appears. Master Xehanort and Sora have their first real face to face confrontation and Sora demands the 100 acre wood book back, in which Xehanort in an act of trying to push Sora into the darkness, burns the book right before Sora's eyes. After some more dialogue exchange, the organization then leaves and blocks off the castle with a dark barrier while Xehanort goes to resume some unfinished business. Merlin will then allow Sora the opportunity to create a new book to rewrite 100 acre by gathering pages made out of a special kind of magic reinforcement that can only be found throughout the worlds in the game. Throughout the game you return to Radiant Garden, find a way to get inside the castle, have a clash or two with a few members of the Organization, restore 100 acre wood, maybe Xehanort does something that causes you to reenter The Grid, etc.
AlixtheMagi13 245 Posted January 10, 2015 Quite an interesting theory. I am pretty sure Disney would ever allow it but you never know.
Dave 5,715 Posted January 10, 2015 The only problem with that is that it would essentially negate any kind of accomplishment that we had either in taking out Maleficent in KH1, or joining the Restoration Committee in KH2... Oh, wait. Nomura likes not letting us feel like we accomplished anything and flipping off any sense of achievement we might have had in order to make Xehanort look competent. Nevermind, this theory works great. 1 Robbie the Wise reacted to this
Firaga 5,947 Posted January 10, 2015 So after we helped restore Hollow Bastion to a point where the Restoration Commitee can continue to rebuild their home and they even remembered the world's true name, Radiant Garden, we gotta go through basically the same thing again. No. Just... no. 1 HarLea Quinn reacted to this

Firaga 5,947 Posted January 10, 2015 (edited) Implying Kingdom Hearts doesn't rehash things That's because it doesn't. It revisits old elements as they are part of the franchise's core, but nothing is ever really copied over. Even so, I don't like the idea anyway. Robbie the Wise 5,050 Posted January 10, 2015 (edited) Who in the blue hell is morbid enough to want poor old Pooh killed off?! Seriously Kingdom Hearts fans are morbid as firetruck if they want to see this. HMK for the win.... -_- #KingdomHeartsFansHaveADeathFetish Edited January 10, 2015 by devereauxr 3 Handsome_the_Wise, Dave and HarLea Quinn reacted to this

Hero of Light XIV 2,381 Posted January 10, 2015 (edited) Some of HMK's theories sound a little excessive to me...this is no exception. I mean what's the point of destroying the town (it's called Radiant Garden now by the way, not Hallow Bastion anymore) when that ALREADY HAPPENED IN KH2 (not completely, but enough)? And no, killing the book is just too cruel. This seems more like somebody's idea for the third or fourth chapter of their fan fiction. Who the hell is HMK and why should I listen to them? He's just some guy on youtube who's a fan of Kingdom Hearts and Legend of Zelda who makes videos on all of these theories that he has. You would literally have to watch him yourself to see if you'd like him or not, because I don't want to sound like a jerk by making my opinion the only thing you ever know about him. Just from my standpoint, I don't care for his videos that much and I think there might be some issues with a lot of his Kingdom Hearts facts, not to mention how he handles people voicing stuff he missed or got wrong on the comments section. If you really want to know who he is and why you should or shouldn't listen to him, again, just go watch him for yourself.
