Okay since kingdom hearts 3 is a numbered title and where playing as sora , doland and gooby gummie ship missions are pretty much confirmed so i want to know what you guys think the gummie ship missions will be like in kingdom hearts 3? Personally i think thay'll look incredibly detailed And lots of customization features with a large map to play through gradually getting larger through each world.

 

Note: playing kh 1 and 2 gummie ship missions have made me love them .

Hope they are fun. Even then, I hope you are able to skip them.

 

In KH1 they were bad but added to the excitement of seeing the next new world. In KH2, they were more fun but still just something that is just in the way, especially when you already see what the next world is.

Well it's not guaranteed that Gummi missions are coming back- I'm sure they could invent some new method of travelling between worlds that doesn't require a spaceship (Keyblade armor, for example) and I know a lot of people wouldn't want to see them return.

 

Personally, I hope the do come back as more of a streamlined version of KH1's missions. More like Star Fox than the super-fast rail shooter we got from KH2. I'd also really want them to fix the goddamn ship creator; it's such a hassle in both game to fiddle around with the camera and place pieces in the right place and facing the right way. Plus with modern consoles, they could add a lot more depth and customization the the ship creator (more shades of colors, more varied piece sizes and shapes, bigger/more complex ships, etc.)

I kind of hope they add in a 3D-Space missions. Y'know, like a 3D Shoot-em up and you have to fight Gummi Heartless like a beat em up, it would work like how you get ambushed in Port Royal. 

You're going to fly with Iron Man to help him take down the Deathstar

While I think it'd be neat for the Gummi Ship to return, I think that this might not be the case.  For all we know, Sora, Riku and Kairi could learn how to master the art of transforming the Keyblade into a Keyblade Glider, so there's that!  But, if the Gummi Ship were to return, I'm sure Nomura would add a modern twist to the Gummi Ship gameplay.

I like the Idea of Sora and Riku using Keyblade Gliders, but There's the problem of Donald and Goofy not having keyblades. So Apparently, Riku and Mickey are going their own way? So they could use Gliders, I guess. And Sora, Donald and Goofy can use the gummi ship.

 

Anyways, It's always fun to fly around in a ship you made yourself. I hope the gummi ship returns for KH3.

As long as the customization isn't as confusing as say Kingdom hearts 2 ("The hell is this?! the hells is that?! Im so confused...")

seriously though, as long as they keep them fast paced like in KH2 it will be pretty good imo

 

 

if they go back to KH1's gummy ships...well...
