Posted February 5, 201511 yr Hajime Tabata has confirmed Final Fantasy XV Episode Duscae will be available at Final Fantasy Type-0 HD's launch worldwide.
February 5, 201511 yr Question. Is it a coincidence that they decided to remaster Type-0 and also use it to promote XV? Or is it on purpose because Tabata's team is making both (and he also directed the original PSP game). Does that mean that Toriyama's team will also make the same thing? Like, make an AAA game while remastering another one? (though I don't know which he will remaster since he already remastered X/X-2 and we already know it's coming in spring for the PS4. Might be the Lightning Trilogy though) Which also means that Ito will also do the same. Basically while making XVI he will remaster XII and use it to promote XVI. I know this seems far fetched but I kinda hope it happens.

I know this seems far fetched but I kinda hope it happens. Here's the thing, while they aren't actually used to promote the new games they're likely to happen. Type-0 HD is coming because there isn't an English version. That's why. The Type-0 team was merged into the FFXV team, so yes the FFXV team has been working with HexaDrive on Type-0 HD. That's all division 2. Division 1 is working on two games. Mevius and Toriyama's title that will be announced later this year. VII and X/X-2 HD are coming to PS4. You can expect VIII later on and there's a very good chance of the XIII trilogy at some stage for both PS4 & Xbox One. We don't know what Toriyama's title is though. We can only hope it's X-3. Ito is in division 8 working on XVI. The FFXII team was merged into the XVI team and I'm sure they're working on a HD remaster of XII with some other studio.
February 5, 201511 yr Well that last one makes sense. Since Ito was the director for XII wasn't he? I assume when you say "merged" you are talking about entire teams with their own directors right? Like, Tabata has his own team with his own people, same thing with Ito and Toriyama/Kitase right? I mean, when they put a director on a game he doesn't just go and starts to direct some random people right?

February 5, 201511 yr Short question...If I buy Final Fantasy Type-0 at launch with the intention of buying a PS4 this summer, will I still be able to use the code to download Episode Duscae or will they remove the download? Maybe I should just wait for the tech demo instead...
