Resident Evil HD Becomes Fastest Selling PSN Title

I kinda find it funny how Capcom is so shocked at how well Resident Evil Remake HD is selling on both the PS3 and PS4. This, right here, should tell them now that THIS is what the fans want the series to return to and not with how it is now. Because right now RE is trying too hard to be a CoD/Gears of War clone except with monsters and other bio creatures. But yeah, let's hope that these sales finally tell Capcom how the series should be done from now on. I mean, Resident Evil: Revelations was a good first step, and Revelation 2 looks pretty good and looks like it will possibly return to horror instead of all that action. I think Capcom could finally be understanding now (hopefully at least)

Well that's what happens when a very popular game is digital only and on both platforms.

Well, it is on the Xbox One and Xbox 360 too so you must mean on 4 platforms lol. ALso, it sold so well because of 2 very big reasons.

1. It's one of the classic Resident Evil games. A lot of people have been asking Capcom to bring back the old style RE gameplay instead of the new, CoD one. Despite this being an HD remaster of a PS game that got remade for the GameCube and is now an HD port, it's what the fans really want RE to go back to.

2. It was GameCube exclusive and another big reason why it's selling so well digitally since the GameCube didn't do so well in terms of sales.

well no, it being on the Xbox wouldn't contribute at all to this being the fastest selling PSN title

Yeah, it would do the opposite.

Wow, this is very interesting!  You know, I've been wanting to get a chance to jump into the Resident Evil series, and it seems that this game might be my chance to do so! :)

If only Capcom would realize how lucrative the Mega Man franchise would be for them.

Well, there is Mighty No.9 proving that point.

Well I was just pointing out that Resident Evil HD Remaster was also on Xbox One and Xbox 380 since Mr. 96 said that it was on "both platforms" lol.
