Okay, so I have been wondering this for the longest time. If Ven had lost his heart. Doesn't that mean that a nobody was created? I mean, he had a strong heart, and had big connections to people. Then I know his heart went to Sora's heart. But that was Sora's nobody, not Ven's. Can someone help me out?

The only reason Kairi has a nobody is because it was born from her heart being released from sora's body when he released his own heart to save her. Think of Vanitas as Ven's nobody because in a sense he kinda is.

In order for a Nobody to be created a strong hearted person must lose his heart to the Darkness. In one of the Endings, you see Ven's heart talking to little Sora, somewhere there Ven's heart says, that he was close to the darkness, but heard a child.

 

It was close, but it was never lost.

he doesn't have darkness in his heart to create a nobody with when he looses his heart. No darkness required to make a Nobody, that's Heartless you're thinking of.

Anyways, from what I can tell, what's left of Ventus's heart doesn't really qualify as one.

When a person loses their heart to the darkness, a Heartless is born. If this person had a particularly strong heart, the body and soul s/he left behind will become a Nobody. Ven didn't lose his heart to the darkness, thus, neither Heartless nor Nobody were created.

 

Roxas is Sora's Nobody, you can't deny that. We've known for a long time that Roxas was born when Sora became a Heartless, and that he is his body and soul. However, Ven's heart, which separated from Sora's due to the Heart Unlocker, was left in Sora's body, unable to return to his true body because it was still incomplete, and went on with Sora's B+S to become Roxas. Ven's body and soul, as we know, are still in the Chamber of Repose. If Roxas was indeed Ven's Nobody, it would've made more sense for him to have been born in CO.

 

The reason Roxas looks like Ven is because a heart holds a person's identity; it's what makes you you. Since Roxas had it, instead of keeping Sora's appearance, instead the body used Ven's heart as a blueprint and reshaped itself to look like Ven.

Vanitas never joined back with Ven. He was destroyed, which caused Ven's heart to go out of whack and lose it.

Nah, Vanitas was destroyed. That's why Ven couldn't wake up; his heart returned to the comatose state it was in when Vanitas was born. No heart is out of balance. Everyone (sans PoH) has both light and darkness in their hearts.

Nobodies are born in the Realm of Inbetween. Amongst the worlds in that realm about Castle Oblivion, Twilight Town, Mysterious Tower, and The World that Never Was. Destiny Islands is a world in the Realm of Light. He couldn't have been born there.

Vanitas died, that is why Ven is in his coma state because his heart isn't balanced of light and darkness

Keyblade Masters have this special ability to extract hearts...something along those lines. This is where Aqua comes in. Along with being the only person who can find Ven in the Chamber of Waking, she's also a master, and will be able to extract Ven's heart from Sora. But of course, if what Yen Sid said is true, Terra might need to be saved before Ven, what with the whole "he'll follow the bonds with his friends back home" thing.

There are always complications. Regarding that, there are a few questions:

 

- Did it merge back together with Sora's heart when Roxas rejoined with him, or is it merely taking shelter within Sora like Kairi's heart in KH1?

- Will Aqua, a newly inducted Keyblade master with no prior experience in heart extraction, be able to safely remove Ven's heart without affecting Sora?

- Will Ven even wake up after regaining his heart?

You can't have a Nobody without a Heartless first. Ven had no darkness in his heart, so no Heartless was born. No Heartless, no Nobody. End of story.
