I asked Takashi Tokita, the head of division 9 if there were any plans to add achievements, an auto-battle feature or a music player feature to the iOS & Android versions of Final Fantasy III since these features are included in the iOS & Android versions of Final Fantasy IV, Final Fantasy V, Final Fantasy IV: The After Years and Final Fantasy VI. Unfortunately, Tokita told me there are no plans to add any of these and that the achievements are only for the PC/Steam version of Final Fantasy III for now.

saying there are no plans for something is the standard PR response to basically everything

it's only notable when they confirm something WILL happen

Yes, and he's confirmed multiple things to me.

Yes, and he's confirmed multiple things to me.

if he's confirmed actual unconfirmed things, not just the lack of plans for things, then that's good

Yeah, he has. He's really nice.

I'd hope a person in PR is nice xD

I'm not talking to PR. The PR contacts take forever to respond. I've literally been talking to Tokita.

My phrasing was a bit awkward, but anybody who deals directly with a consumer is working PR (there's a reason beyond them being too busy that most developers and such don't interact directly with their consumers)
