That is right the Metal Gear Solid Saga will come to an end with the release of MGS five The Phantom Pain according to Kojima just watch the video above to learn more about it.  I haven't played any of the games for a long time I played the first MGS on Playstation because my friend had it but I never really gotten into it but I did want to get into since they released a big HD collection of it a few years ago, I might get into it eventually it looks like a really well loved series and The Phantom Pain looks amazing I'm thinking of getting that game even though I haven't played any of the other ones yet.  Anyway how do you all feel about MGS Saga ending?

It's "SAGA", not "SAGE".

And just because Metal Gear SOLID is ending doesn't mean that the franchise itself is over. This simply marks the end of Snake and Big Boss's stories. There are still other spin-offs they can make, not to mention Riden's story. Also, they can still make remakes, remasters, and other projects. It's the end of a story, but not the franchise. It's no different than Kingdom Hearts III not being the end of the franchise, just the end of the Xehanort chronicles.

But yeah, you're right, it's likely Metal Gear will continue in some way or another (hopefully as the Rising series).

Alright, some of you seem kind of new to the MGS franchise or Kojima in general, so I'll go ahead and spread a little bit of much needed wisdom:  When Hideo Kojima says that "Metal Gear Solid 5 is my last game", that pretty much means that he's already working on Metal Gear Solid 6.  If he says he's working on a new Zone of the Enders or Snatcher, he pretty much isn't.

Coming "full circle" hopefully means the final scenes of this game will be of Solid Snake preparing to infiltrate the first Outer Heaven.

The sass is strong with this one.

Yeah, there's plenty of ways for the series to continue. The series has introduced a lot of potential new characters to push the series forward, and RAIDEN seems like a interesting enough character to become the new face of the series.
