Well I recently made a thread about needing help on Terra-Xanehort in the Last Episode. Well after beating him, I am now ready to take on Vanitas Setiment!!! But I tried and died the few times I tried. So I need some tips, help, anything that would help against him. Sorry if there is a thread on a this. Didn't see one. Thanks everyone for the help!

Use magic and dodage roll alot.

EDIT: use that land mind kind of magic alot.

here do this for all three put tht move tht put cicles of magic tht deals damge to people who touch just keep doing tht and u will win

just use tornado atleast 3 times and more than half his hp will be gone to get tornado u blend Aeroga+Magnega so i've heard but it sounds like something that would make a tornado

Haha I still can't beat him, although I find it difficult to fathom how beating Terra-Xehanort could make you ready for Vanitas' Sentiment lol. Good luck my friend!

Lets see...:

 

1.) Stock up on a good amount of Mega potions. If you heal at any time during the fight with magic and not items, he will heal himself as well, so you HAVE to heal with items.

 

2.) Do a few test runs. Memorize his attack patterns, what to do against each attack, and when its a good time to heal and when not to.

 

3.) Make sure to have the following skills, preferably all upgraded to the max:

HP Boost

Final Stand

Magic Haste

 

As for the commands, When i fought him, i had 3 Detone Chaser's, all of them level 4, and 5 Mega potions. Hope this helps some. And if you need any other advice/help, just ask.

ok I haven't faced him yet but here's what I would do: use detonate square, and do dodge roll a lot, and also from what I've seen, physical attacks aren't very wise to do against Vanitas' sentiment so use magic , hope this helps ;D try to memorize his pattern attacks because his attacks are normally a combination of Ven's final boss and as a regular boss from what I've seen but of course a lot more powerful

Don't get hit and hit him. It always works for me.

Just a few more tips i forgot..

 

The only real time you can do anything else besides cartwheeling around is when he :

A) Jumps into the air, summoning fireballs around him, and

B) When he does the dark claw attack (When the entire screen goes black, and these dark spikes impale a small area)

Use these times to heal, use spells, or whatever you plan on doing.

 

he always starts off the fight surrounding him with a darkness sphere. Don't bother locking on or anything, just keep rolling around the arena until he gets out of the sphere.

 

 

And if it really comes down to it, i could try to stream the fight, so you can learn some techniques from the fight.

Pretty much what Vector said, but I did it a little differently. I set all but one of my commands to Mega-Potion, then the last one was different for each character. Terra: Ars Solum; Ven: Ars Arcanum; Aqua: Wish Blade. Just dodge and dodge and dodge and wait to attack until AFTER the Sentiment attacks. Put in one or two hits on it then (guess what) DODGE! only use the attack command when it uses its Shoot Lock. That worked for me!

I thought you can only face the Vanitas Sentiment in Last Episode?

 

well you face him in Last Episode, but you can face him as Terra Aqua or Ven

Oh. I thought you can only play the last episode as aqua

:S well I'm not sure how it EXACTLY works and I haven't beat Last Episode, but I have seen videos of people playing as Ven and Terra against the Lingering Sentiment

After you finish the Last Episode, the game puts a second landing point in the Keyblade Graveyard in all of the stories. Land there and examine the Silhouette and BAM! Sentiment time.
