So I've been doing the secret bosses and other optional stuff... however, Mysterious Figure.... WHY SQUARE ENIX!? This boss is so unfair because he likes to kill you when you haven't got a chance to heal(*Cough*Clones*Cough*) and that you have to mash Square all the time.

If anyone has any tips on this boss can you help me? And yes, I'm trying the Thunder Surge Strat(Also, I'm around lvl 30-ish, I'm using Void Gear, and I'm trying this as Aqua first).

That's pretty much all you can do. Dodge until you see an opening to use Surge on him (like when he uses the X-slash or after Collision Magnet if you avoid it).

Well, Aqua is the easiest since she has the best dodge. Level 30 is probably a bit low if you haven't beaten it before

It is a really poorly designed boss, but you'll get it with patience

I've probably do need to grind a bit more so I can deal more damage... but I have beaten him before years ago on the original but I don't remember much other than Thunder Surges and Dodging.

Well, I've platinum'd all of 2.5, and if you wanna complete all the journals you need to do every secret boss with every character. And Mysterious Figure was dumbed down for Final Mix, and then again for 2.5. It took me about an hour with each character, same strategy as you, my characters were all level 50 on critical mode. Just keep trying is all. -cries because it took me 3 years to heat MS on normal bbs for the psp-

Lmao dude, I know exactly what you mean but don't feel bad because it took me TEN YEARS to beat Sephiroth in KH1 LOL! I could never beat him in the original PS2 version, so when I got 1.5, I made it my life /mission/ to defeat him. Wow, now THAT boss is hard. I beat Mysterious Figure on my fourth try. (Although I was lvl 99 on Ven and didn't even attempt him on Terra or Aqua because it's still a pain in the ass.)

I found Sephiroth easier in KH1Fm on 1.5 due to Leaf Bracer and other abilities.

Yeah, I've only beaten Sephiroth on KH1 PS2 in recent years, like 2010-11. And on PSP BBS I defeated him with Terra because he was the main guy I used and only one that was a high level like level 90 I think. And that was only on normal.
