Is that why the Game Grumps have a keyblade replica?

He mentioned in their Sonic 06 playthrough that he wanted to play Kingdom Hearts on Game Grumps. Pretty sure it's been confirmed that he's played the games.

I just wanted to know. Because I thought he only liked it when he was a kid,but since he actually wants to play it on Game Grumps,I dunno what's stopping him. Was it Jon? Because I was told that he didn't like the game.

I don't know why everyone thinks Jon doesn't like Kingdom Hearts, because he was the one who suggested it in the first place. Kingdom Hearts just doesn't suit the channel well. Game Grumps is at its best best when the hosts play either playing short games, or if they play a game that they can make a lot of jokes about. There have been a few exceptions (Wind Waker, Super Mario Sunshine), but that's how their channel is run. They're a comedy channel, not a Let's Play channel. That's why they usually don't stick to a game all the way through to the end, unless it's an older game that's short.

Well,it was on a reddit page that pointed out that the Game Grumps had a replica of the Kingdom Key. One post said that Jon didn't like the game. Also,when the time comes,there might be a KH playthrough on the channel. Someday...

If they do play through Kingdom Hearts, they'll probably get a lot of complaints over the jokes they'd make. I think they're better off not playing it.

I don't see why he'd tone down jokes for any specific games. He joked just as much about Wind Waker, Sunshine, and Pokemon (Which we know he loves) than he has any other game. Like I said, they're a comedy channel. Jokes are necessary for them.

Egoraptor's deviantART page (which is old, granted) has a pic or two of Sora, so we can assume he at least kinda likes KH. Favoritism doesn't really account for most of the Grumps' selection, though. Megaman X is Ego's favorite game period, but there's only four videos to it. Like the others mentioned, KH isn't suited for the Grumps' channel. They don't have the time (or just the patience) for a long, story-heavy game, so you can scratch KH off the list by default. Even if they do decide to play it, how long do you think it'll last? There's no guarantee how long they stick with something.

If I remember correctly, their Fire Red playthrough was originally much shorter, and they continued it after a while (I only saw a little bit of it, so I don't know any specifics). And either way, there are a few games that they'll stick to for a long amount of time. Those are pretty rare, though. I doubt something as long and plot-centered as Kingdom Hearts would be a game they'd stick to for more than a few episodes, if they even play it at all.

Well,considering that one of Arin's Sora pictures descriptions say that he actually hasn't played the games,and the amount of episodes it takes for anyone to get through KH depending on how things go,I think it might be Arin could be willing to go through the games and have enough comedy.

I'm pretty sure Arin talked about Kingdom Hearts with Danny before. He said that he wanted to bring it to game grumps, but as the channel goes, they usually dedicate themselves to games that require less focus to playthrough. Kingdom Hearts requires a bigger focus and leaves less room for the comedy of their conversations. He can't really do a game grumps session where he actually focuses on the game. That's why the games they play are usually short, or played with a walkthrough, or even if they have no care for it, because they're more about their conversations than the gameplay. Rarely have I ever watched game grumps for the game.
