I knew that it was him when the trailer started, but I was still like "Don't you do it!" because I didn't want to cry, but I cried anyway. It was just so beautiful! :')

I had a feeling the trailer was for Lucas in the Nintendo Direct when it was showing Ness getting beat up by a bunch of characters

Same here. I knew it was him the second I saw Ness. I didn't want to get my hopes up, but it all worked out in the end... I didn't cry or have any sort of actual expression of joy, but that's because I had to watch it at school. If I was at home, I would have been shouting loud enough for the whole neighborhood to hear.
