In tonight's Dissidia Final Fantasy press conference some massive news have emerged.

 

Dissidia Final Fantasy is being developed on a custom-built PlayStation 4, with the arcade joysticks even featuring PlayStation buttons.

 

Square Enix has confirmed Dissidia Final Fantasy will remain exclusive to arcade systems for at least one year.

 

Koei Tecmo's Team Ninja is working with Business Division 4 to develop the game.

 

As expected, Ichiro Hazama is serving as producer as he did for Dissidia 012 on PSP.

 

Takeo Kujiraoka is the director, he's been a battle planner/designer for the Dissidia games on PSP and the XIII trilogy.

1. No proof that it's coming to PS4 is what makes me mad.

3. Square had a bad rep for FFXIII yet the made it the first game to get it's own trilogy. This isn't really a valid point since SE never has listened to it's fan base.

Did you not see the video of the PS4 vs arcade comparisson... Where it showed a PS4 running a higher quality version of the game? It's coming to PS4, seriously. I see no point in whining about something not happening when it's clearly going to happen. Also, as many others have said, many fighting games in Japan start off on arcade machines to test the game. This is going to be the exact same case, trust us. It would be an absolutely stupid move to not put the game on PS4. Square might make a lot of weird decisions, but they wouldn't pull something that dumb.

There's an actual PS4 version you can see footage of. It's a timed exclusive. Get over it.

The footage clearly says "PlayStation 4" and they've clearly said it's a timed exclusive. You aren't going to get anything else until 2016.

Who would have the skill to, within a few hours, go and recreate a video to make it look like it's on PS4? Or even get entirely new gameplay footage? You're making more trouble for yourself by complaining about this. It's obviously going to happen, everyone who's not just looking to cause arguments knows this by now.

I'm saying it's in the same situation as the PS4 version of Rise of Tomb Raider except we already have footage of it's PS4 version. Of course it's not bloody fan made, it's on their official channel.
