This will be a splice of life Roleplay that I will be co-hosting with theswordinthethrone who is making his RP debut here on KH13.

Plot Summary

Chisei Academy is an international boarding school for the intellectually gifted. Created for the reason of gathering the world's best and brightest students, Chisei Academy strives to bring out the best from what the latest generation has to offer. Over the course of three years, students will learn many great skills that will help them fulfil the great tasks that surely awaits them in their adult life. Every student will each be a given a dorm room to themselves as well as a number of study areas in order to collaborate on problems that you are unable to solve alone. However, there is in fact a requirement that must be met in order for students to attend this school. All students must maintain a steady test score percentage with an average of 90% or higher in all of their subjects. This task may seem daunting, especially with each academic year becoming harder and harder, but here at Chisei Academy, we only accept the best of the best. To enforce this requirement, we will use a three strike policy and after the third strike, you will be escorted home and be declared as a drop out.

Now, on the other hand, if you find yourself succeeding at our prestigious school, then we encourage you to join one of our many extra curricular clubs in order to keep your mind and body in top mental and physical condition. We have many clubs to choose from which will help you all to form relationships with your fellow students. Now, we hope you all succeed during the next three years and show us all that you are worthy to join Chisei Academy.

"You guys hear all of that? Basically, if you screw up three times at this school, you'll be sent home as the laughing stock of the century. I know it's going to be tough, but I'm sure all of you will do just fine. After all, not just anyone gets invited to come here. You guys are the best of the best, just like me. Now, despite there being any number of clubs at this school, that I personally lost count of after 50, there are always going to be people who don't fall in anywhere. Whether it be lack of skill in a specific field, a problem or habit that causes you to be treated differently from the general populace or even something as trivial as not getting along with other people, there are always going to be people who will be left to suffer in this school alone. That's why this year there will be a new club for all of you struggling with life at this absurdly stressful school. To improve social insecurity and to help deal with any mental or physical problems, I invite you all to the Normal Club!
~President of the Normal Club, Chase Cross."

-------

You heard it straight from the mouth of your club president guys.

The goal of this Roleplay will be to show how the relationships of our fellow club members play out over the course of the three years they attend Chisei Academy. The Normal Club itself is a place for people from across the campus to come together and slowly become what the general populace of the world would consider "Normal". Your character is not required to join the Normal Club right away and you're free to leave the club at any time during the story. As your club president, Chase will make sure to provide all of the members with fun and exciting projects to make your time spent at the school that much more fun. These projects will vary from paying attention to certain members of the club and helping them overcome their problems or something more specific for the group such as "doing actual club work".

Rules

Both me and theswordinthethrone will be encouraging the following of these rules. So, here's the basic rules for being a part of this RP (Don't worry, they're not as bad as they sound.  :D )

- Follow traditional KH13 Roleplaying Rules.

- I follow a three strike policy in which if you break the rules three times then you will be removed from the Rp. So please, let's all abide by the rules. (And yes, this ties in with the the policy mentioned in the plot summary, giving the character an acceptable reason for leaving the Rp.)

- You can only make another post after three others have posted after you. This is to maintain an even pace and make sure that each person isn't left behind during the story.

- Each of you may control up to a maximum of two characters.

- A post must contain a minimum of four lines.

- Please be as descriptive as possible with your posts. Detail is key to making a good story.  ;)

- Be respectful to your fellow RPers.

- To prove you've read the rules, place your favourite colour at the end of you character sheet.

- Lets all have some fun!

As an example to follow, I will put up my own characters below.

My Characters

Name: Charles Cerberus Cross

Age: 17

Gender: Male

Appearance:

Posted Image

Academic Year: 2nd Year

Average Test Score Percentage: 97%

Specialisation: English Literature and Music.

Personality: Confident. Rebellious. Arrogant. Elusive. Devious. Mischievous. Disrespectful to authority. Reliable to those in need. Respectful to senior students.

Quirk: Chase suffers from an authority complex, not listening when teachers or adults talk down to him. This often leads him to getting into trouble as well as being sent to detention. He is seemingly always picking a fight verbally.

Bio: Charles Cerberus Cross was a shy boy who did as he was told. Never fighting his own battles, the boy was known as a coward who simply studied in his room alone. Living up to the expectations of his parents, Charles was accepted to attend Chisei Academy and found himself settling in at the Music club.

This year however, Charles appears to have an almost completely different personality, introducing himself as Chase with a new found sense of confidence that almost seems out of place for all who knew him during his previous year. What could have possibly happened to Charles during his first year?

Name: David Nightray

Age: 15

Gender: Male

Appearance:

Posted Image

Academic Year: 1st Year

Average Test Score Percentage: 94%

Specialisation: Mathematics and Physics.

Personality: Timid. Quiet. Nervous. Shy around new people. Can become friendly after a while. He's also very kind and apologetic for everything.

Quirk: Dave suffers from intense stage freight, unable for him to excel in subjects such as drama or present in front of large groups. This also leads to him awkwardly trying to either quickly dissolve or completely avoid any conversations that present themselves to him. If he is put on the spot and under pressure, his mental capacity will plummet to the point that he'll begin feeling sick.

Bio: Growing up as the youngest sibling among five others, David was always the one who found himself ignored and placed to one side. David felt as if his parents were giving his older siblings more attention while he himself was left to study alone. Due to this lack of attention from his family, David found himself unprepared for the day to day interaction a teen would encounter while attending school, and so began his journey down the path of social anxiety. This however led him to have less time to worry about others and more time to worry about himself, studying harder for school than any of his siblings ever had. Proving that normal schools were simply not challenging enough for him, David personally sent in an application to attend Chisei Academy without informing his parents, not revealing to them what he had done until he received the very impressive acceptance letter. Leaving his family behind, David left for the Academy in hopes of making a new start and overcoming his fears.

The question is how hard will it to be not to create a character that isn't me...

Name: Peter Cross

Age: 16

Gender: Male

Appearance:

 Posted Image

Academic Year: 1st

Average Test Score Percentage: 96%

Specialisation: Math and Computer Sciences (Like coding, to be exact.) (Note: If only one can be chosen, Math.)

Personality: (Give a basic description of how your character interacts with others)

He doesn't exactly like others. He sees everyone as far too unpredictable, like wild pieces of code that just don't make sense. He tends to avoid people in general, except when he has to come into contact with them. He often comes across as cold and uncaring, although he just says he has trouble expressing his emotions, so why should he express them at all?

Quirk: (What makes them stand out? What are their problems?)

As previously stated, he does have trouble expressing emotions. Realizing this from an early age, he threw them away, as much as he could. He tends to see everything around him in terms of math and code, never allowing for unpredictability. This often leads to him getting angry when something, or someone, doesn't act like how he thinks they should.

Bio: (Describe the childhood of your character leading up to them joining the academy.)

Peter grew up in about a middle-class English family, never considering himself that important. That is, until he enrolled in school. He was soon found out to be quite smart, smart enough that his parents sent an application over to Chisei, who accepted him. Personally, he didn't care if he got in or not, so long as he continued to learn.

Favorite color? Dark-ish blue.

Name: Firo Prochainezo (it's been a while since i used this character)

Age: 16
Gender: male
Appearance: Posted Image

Academic Year: 2nd year

Average Test Score Percentage: 100%

Specialization: biology

Personality: Firo's a surprisingly friendly, humorous and compassionate of sort. Considerably patient, loyal and bold. He isn't afraid to confront people, nor is he worried about the impression he leaves since he's simply being himself.

Quirk: Due to his social nature he often falls into the wrong crowd often making a scene. His overall handling these situations is rather poor at best and often ends up in a scene.

Bio: Born in a relatively poor family in Italy Firo was expected to be nothing of importance at birth. As time progressed his education was mostly ignored. However during a random testing his Iq was revealed to be over 200 and he immediately became a target of interest. In a matter of days he had prepared to take the entrance exams for Chisei and passed with an astounding 100%. After the test however he was targeted as a suspected cheater and had to retake the exam. Much to the teacher's surprise the result was even higher 102% (bonus points earned). In the end he was accepted into year 2 due to his age.

Name: Analisa Mors

Age: 16

Gender: Female

Appearance:

Posted Image

Academic Year: 2nd Year

Average Test Score Percentage: 93.6%

Specialization: Literature and Language Arts (foreign included)

Personality: A sweet sweet girl, Analisa lives to please other people. She has little self confidence, but consistently and constantly bolsters others courage and esteem. She compliments her peers no matter who they are or how they act towards her. She is kind and compassionate, willing to constantly give herself to others indifferent to their situation. She'll do anything from helping the homeless in her spare time to holding a door open to a mean old lady, and smiles while she does so, expecting nothing in return. However, Analisa does not stand for people being mean to other people. Be cruel to her all day long, but lift a finger against someone else, and you will hear her be extremely angry, something she is not very often.

Quirk: Analisa is extraordinarily clumsy and forgetful. She tends to break things and fall all the time, to a ridiculous point. She is often not trusted with jobs, not because she is irresponsible, but because she is almost guaranteed to mess it up somehow. She takes all blame and abuse for anything she breaks or messes up, and will apologize profusely, her face red and embarrassed. And she's is forgetful too. She is late to things all the time, and will forget almost anything important. Really, it's extraordinary that she managed to get into Chisei and stay in. But, the one thing she doesn't forget is anything learned in a class scenario, which is an interesting caveat.

Bio: Analisa has been raised by two sweet people, who taught her her compassionate ways. She is an angel to be around, a quiet blessing in any scenario. She excelled in school, and though her parents did not push her, she continued to be smart and extraordinary. Her parents would encourage her, but would never punish or be mad at her if she received a bad grade. When her excellence continued to shine, they chose to send her to Chisei, in hopes to nurture her gift in an environment better suited to do so.

I like Green.

I'll probably have another up sometime in the future.

Name: Kohaku Hayato

Age: 16

Gender: Male

Appearance: (Can be a picture or a description)

Posted Image

Academic Year: (Dependant on Age.) 2nd Year

Average Test Score Percentage: (90% - 100%)

95%

Specialisation: (Which subject do you excel in?) Music

Personality: (Give a basic description of how your character interacts with others)

Self conscious and haughty, Kohaku doesn't agree well with anyone and will scorn them at any possible moment. Quite insecure about himself, he will try to put up a superior facade around others. Despite this, he can be a genuinely good person at times.

Quirk: (What makes them stand out? What are their problems?)

His seemingly arrogant facade, which causes him to act like spoiled nobility.

Bio: (Describe the childhood of your character leading up to them joining the academy.

Coming from a middle class family as their only son, high expectation was placed on him to succeed and carry on the family's tradition in medicine. At the age of 12, Kohaku's parents bought him a keyboard on sale, which led him to exhibit his "gift" for music. Winning a few very prestigious competitions without prior fame, he was easily accepted into many rich academies who wanted to sponsor him as a prodigy, yet his parents wanted only the best. After seemingly passing the entrance exam to Chisei without breaking a sweat, he now continues his life at the Academy, seemingly on a different level in both music and life. He majors in delicate, romantic era music despite his naturally vain attitude. Never finding a person who could resonate with his madness, he simply chose not to bother finding one.

Optional: (If this isn't your first year at Chisei academy, then describe what it was like attending the school during your previous years.)

Hello everyone! As Oblivion so kindly pointed out, I am new here and this will be my RP debut. I hope to get to know all of you over time and I'm sure I'll thoroughly enjoy co-hosting this RP and roleplaying with you all. :3 As co-host I don't exactly need to be accepted but I'll post my characters just so you can see them xD

Name: Alistair Lyons

Age: 16

Gender: Male

Appearance:

Academic Year: Year 2

Average Test Score: 93%

Specialisation: English Literature

Personality: Alistair is a smart and thoughtful student who often keeps to himself. He is distrustful and sometimes hostile towards people he is not entirely familiar with, but this is merely a hardened shell that hides a far softer person inside. Alistair's more sensitive side comes to the fore in terms of his love of literature, especially poetry, and all things natural. To that end, he can usually be found in the grounds outside Chisei Academy, resting against a tree - or indeed, having climbed it he may be laying atop a branch. During this time he likes to read and write, but loathes being disturbed by anyone and will react aggressively to any intrusion.

Quirk: Alistair has immense anger management problems and often finds it hard to keep a cool head when times are stressful. While this appears to be a problem of its own, it stems from Alistair's deep distrust of other people - the root cause of Alistair's social problems and the main reason for his admission to the Normal Club.

Biography: Many of the students admitted to Chisei Academy aren't just intelligent, they're filthy rich too. The same can't be said of Alistair. Hailing from a humble town in Yorkshire, Alistair came from a working class family who climbed into the middle class. Determined to secure Alistair's future success, his parents saved throughout his life in order to send him to some prestigious foreign academy - what would eventually be Chisei Academy.

Alistair was a bright and sociable youth with enough friends that he was never lonely for long. This all ended in his first years of High School. Like any normal teen, Alistair had girlfriends and friends, he got drunk and made mistakes. But a series of successive embarrassments, betrayals and fights left him wounded and vulnerable. At about 15 years of age, he shut himself off from the world, save a few close friends and family. He would spend his days writing in his room, taking breaks to eat and occasionally playing video games.

Alistair's parents thought that sending him to Chisei Academy would 'cure' him, but as it happened, he spent his entire 1st year in his dorm room and managed to avoid his roommate for the most part. But now the second year begins, and a like-minded individual had approached Alistair with an idea. Alistair's respect for his peer, Charles Cross, led him to go along with the crazy idea of helping to run the so-called 'Normal Club' as its Vice President.

And of course, what would a brother be without his little sister?

Name: Scarlett Lyons

Age: 15

Gender: Female

Appearance:

Academic Year: Year 1

Average Test Score: 90%

Specialisation: Languages (French, Spanish, Japanese)

Personality: Scarlett is excitable, cheerful and sociable. She has no problem approaching anyone and everyone - which can be a problem for everyone else. In particular, she finds enjoyment from pestering her brother Alistair and embarrassing him in front of other people. In short, she's just the typical kawaii little sister.

Quirk: Scarlett has the rather unique quirk of being too sociable. Some people go as far as to call her annoying, or a pest. Regardless, she will talk for hours to anyone who will listen - and some that won't. In spite of this, she has not been admitted to the Normal Club yet. Perhaps Alistair doesn't want her to.

Biography: It was never intended for Scarlett to attend a prestigious academy like her brother, but when it emerged that she was nearly as academically gifted, the idea was considered more seriously. Once Alistair entered his antisocial phase, his parents agreed that it would be a good idea to send his little sister along after him, to keep him company.

As a 1st Year, Scarlett is loud and sociable enough that she has attracted a crowd of friends, and with a certain cuteness she has many males of her own age and older taking an interest - much to the chagrin of Alistair.

His seemingly arrogant facade, which causes him to act like spoiled nobility.Bio: (Describe the childhood of your character leading up to them joining the academy.

Personality: (Give a basic description of how your character interacts with others)

Conversational, cocky, and insecure.  Connects well on a one-on-one basis and does horrible in group settings.  Acts confident and slightly irritating, yet lacks a lot of self-esteem and confidence.

Quirk: (What makes them stand out? What are their problems?)

Genevieve is French and speaks Franglish, making her the point of ridicule often.  She also is quiet and seldom socializes in crowds, yet will speak once spoken to.  Never can quite fit in.

Bio: (Describe the childhood of your character leading up to them joining the academy.
Optional: If this isn't your first year at Chisei academy, then describe what it was like attending the school during your previous years.)

Genevieve was enrolled by her aunt and uncle to be the source of pride in their family by her high education.  Genevieve had been going to Chisei Academy for a year, yet hated it because she complained that she could never fit in with all of "zis English speaking crowd."  She hasn't yet made friends at the Chisei Academy and predominately spends her time alone, dreaming of what life would be like in a real school or with a "normal" crowd.
