Just when I thought things were going to be better, a new and major problem arrived. And it's scaring me. Damn commercial said to take the scary out of life, but it doesn't help...

 

What, the forums? No no no, outside problem. Big outside problem.

 

So during the last couple of days ago, I was enjoying my day, playing Halo 3, waiting for my friend to come over so we can go to other friend's house and hang out there, and out of a sudden, a knock on the door is there. So my mom goes out and 5 minutes she slams the door holding this packet of papers. My mom is freaking out and really just not exposing what the situation was. So I decided to look at the papers for myself while my mom goes out to physical theropy (she broke her elbow so she needs to get it healed quickly.

 

Want to know what's going on? We're being sued for taxes, and going to lose our house. Crazy, right?

 

So I was WTFing the entire time. Sued? Losing house? Why?

 

I may be a smart person but it was confusing, and it still is. I mean, we're being sued over "tax liens". I don't know what tax lien is, so I'm just going to assume taxes at this point. Being sued is harsh and very pricey.

 

But the thing that not only confuses me but angers me is losing my house. Why would he government go that beyond to take my house? We need food, water, sleep, shelter, and money. Are they seriously going to take away our lives? Get this, they are not only going to take the house but our cars too. I can't even deal with the fact of our house not being ours, but our cars that we spent ourselves and has nothing to do with the house? What the hell? I don't care if it's part of property, leave the vechicles out of this. Those cost a lot of money and for us to get new ones is mind blowing. I still have one more year until I can drive. Don't firetruck it up government.

 

But then again, it's the government. All they do is make us pay taxes so that they can go Relax and take a vacation. A $100 bill being burned is like losing someone important. To them, it's like their toliet paper, just to wipe their asses with.

 

But the situation is still confusing and there is still things I don't know about this. All I know is that on September 21st, I either lose my house, pay the lawsuit and get lucky for our house to still be ours, or get a new house. But all three options are not appealing at all.

 

Enjoyment of life is now decreasing.

I'm unfamiliar with taxes and stuff, but I think it's something to do with the property and something about the owner or previous one not paying some taxes? I dunno much about it, I heard it vaguely from my father once. ._.

Me too. I don't know much about taxes, but they must have something to do with property, which would explain why my house is going to be gone

 

Right now, it isn't hard to get through, but thinking about it makes the situation worse. But once Septmber hits, it's going to be hell. I'll try to see if luck and hope is on my side. Those two is the only way we can get through this.

 

Apparently cars are part of property. But it doesn't make sense. If I can't fit a car in my house, why is it part of the property? Why should it be taken away? Lol, such fail logic. I don't care what anyone says, I stick to my point that cars of not part of the property, or part of the house. It just doesn't make sense

 

Yeah, stupid government. Not only stupid, but angry too. When that person came to my house, she couldn't wait like 5 seconds and tried to go to the second door and go in. Not to mention she was trying to give the lawsuit papers to my grandma but NOOOOO, she had to be paranoid when we say we'll give it to her, so she said she has to do it herself. Verry rude lady. I guess someone needed a tampon that day. Sheesh.

that's sad hopefully you and your family can pull though and i agree cars are not part your property with your house.The American Government is mess up but i live Canada where things are more stable and things run better.

Tom, I'm really sorry. I really hope everything gets better. The government is just ridiculous. I've heard about tax lien before. It happened to my mom's cousins before. Sucks big time. And to take away your cars is insane...I mean it's not technically property.

Hmm, that is an inconvience mate. Hopefully things will turn out better later on.

The government is awful right now. I wish it was more like it was when the United States first started. We were truly free back then.

 

A major part of the revolution was so that we wouldn't be over taxed. These days we are being taxed almost as worse as we were before we gained our independence. Ironic isn't it?

Times right now aren't the best, man. Even though the main recession is over with, the government is still trying to rake in more money. Just a few days ago, my cousin lost his house because of "taxes". I can say for myself that the IRS is one son of a bitch. All of this U.S. bullshit makes me want to move out of the country when I turn 18. But anyways, I hope you don't lose your house, hang in there man. I hope everything will get better.

In socialist countries like France half or at least 1/4 of your income goes to the government. There aren't many capitalist countries left.

True that....

 

Most of the world's government is messed, so are the economics, which is why we even have third-world countries, global warming, etc. And the people who are trying to change the world's government. We might as well develop a colony on Mars now, because this world is firetrucked, and people are already being affected.

I say someone with guts needs to get into office. Someone who isn't afraid of doing what is necessary to make this country great.
