    I think you're thinking of the World of Mana project where they put out two games on DS and one on PS2. This game was released last year.

    pretty sure what I heard about was an iOS game, but I'm not exactly an expert

    Hmmm, unlikely the two Mana games on iOS & Android haven't been localized yet.

     

    But the DS games and PS2 game were panned.
