Is it a slashing weapon or a bashing type like a club ? Also ,its obvious for keyblades with a sharp edge to be able to slice things , but what about those such as kingdom key or sweet memories without any sharp edge , how does that work ?

I theorize that the edge us actually a small aura of light that gives it a sharp edge.

You know it! ;) xDPeace!

To explain those blunt looking keyblades:

Sweet memories: The tip of the branch the hive is hanging on is sharp

Kingdom Key: The corners on the edge of the keyblade are actually quite sharp, like the edge of the table some unlucky person might bump their hips or whatnot on

Sweetstack: The oranges on the end are very sharp at the tips

Fairyharp is seriously the only one that doesn't make sense, but who'd use it to cut things anyway.

If there is a keyblade that you'd want me to check, I will be able to tell.

The tips of the oranges are actually sharp.Remember, all the keyblades are either made of wood or metal. That's what my guess is really.

This isn't Nomura Logic or something specific to KH. This is just anime.

I always like to think of them as bludgeoning weapons. Mostly because beating someone to death with a giant key kind of makes me laugh, more than just using a sword.

Consider it a very fancy stick.

mabye its that sora hits so hard or magic
