Another night in the faux Inn... The man, covered in his brown shroud, sat across from you and the rest of the people from the day before, and he began once again.

 

"Back again today, I see..."

 

The man looked around at those seated, a faint cackle escaped from his throat. With no less than the arrival of the first round of drinks, it started again.

 

"Our story starts with some young lads and maiden's, dancers and fighters, grace, and brutality."

 

With that, your mind melted away, the images of multiple people began to float in your mind as the world around you, this inn, seemed to almost vanish...

 

"Our first scene: In the school grounds, midday, the students have been let out for lunch break..."

 

Day one: DNA of the Heart

 

 

Midday, Year 278, ENDLESS

 

The sun hung above the school of barbarians and entertainers quite lightly this day. One could only dream of such a nice day to be outside, the sun was just right, it smelled of Spring, fresh grass and newly-bloomed flowers peppered the air in their unique smell, the near-by lake shimmered  in the sunlight. A day like this was not one to be spent in a classroom, so when that bell rung, not a soul, not even the faculty could resist such a glorious day. 

 

At the center of the school's inner grounds, a fountain sat, water gently bubbling out of the faucets at the top. A blade and a ribbon, sculpted in stone, sat atop this fountain. And soon, student's decorated the benches near by. Chatting, eating, the like. Some of hem hoped to go for a quick swim in the lake before class started again, others were just genuinely glad they were able to smell the fresh air of the out doors as they sat on the cobble stone floor in the quad....

 

The lake, many called in Fluorspar Lake, was in the wide open, save a few oak trees in the landscape, providing shade and a spot for a swing, and the small cliff overlooking it which many a person dived into. The shimmering, clear water showed the fluorspar gemstones that could be found in its sand....

 

(Alright! So, for your starting post, you have either the choice of the School Quad, or the Lake to start at. For sake of ease, when entering an area you do not know much about the appearance of, put some sort of mark to indicate this. Something like a "..." or a dash will do.)

Syfe smiled towards the reinforcement. "Glad you could join us gentleman," He said to Hektor. Syfe looked at the two opponents in front of them. He narrowed his eyes towards Jan. The instructor was almost down for the count. He could do this. Syfe rushed forwards, readying one blade to slash downwards. But before he did so, he spun around the man, slashing with both swords as he moved behind Jan.

Alexandrr followed syfe's attack, but attacking from the front, allowing syfe an easier time getting behind jan and attacking with a thrust of his halberd.

Rija noticed two of their group beginning a strike on Jan, who seemed almost done for. She nodded with a kind of determination, and attempted to channel the power that she felt. The pull of the earth came easily to her, and she used it to thrust a rather large spike of earth towards Jan from the opposite side of Syfe, effectively cornering the man with their three attacks. Afterwards, she took the chance to look to Derik. "Thanks by the way. That hit would have really hurt."

(FYI, For future notice, responding to a SB counts as a turn, so if a player has a SB, they go first on a turn no matter what, and that is their turn.)

 

Rija noticed two of their group beginning a strike on Jan, who seemed almost done for. She nodded with a kind of determination, and attempted to channel the power that she felt. After staying in the rear for a while, Shela began to accrue some of her strength.  She was feeling a bit stronger, though still not up to par.  However, their group had grown immensely and one of the mad instructors had fallen.  Now it was only Skyla, who by far seemed the most dangerous.  The vanguard was full, Shela noted, so she decided to take a step up and join Rija and Derik in the midguard.  Immediately she began to charge an attack, hoping that Skyla wouldn't take great note of her in the midguard but also hoping to aid her fellow comrades the best she could with a stronger attack later.

Alyssa looked around for another person to help. Her eyes followed the motion of Shela, and realizing how injured she'd been, shot another healing orb of water to the young woman.

Oume finally decided to use his charged attack, he attacked Skyla the only instructor left and hit her with all he had. 'I will not fail.' Oume thought to himself

Runa scoffed, watching another instructor fall. “That’s what you get for messing with us!” Runa yelled. The scent of blood from their fallen classmates was still in the air, the sight still hard to comprehend. “Only one left.” Runa muttered, before spinning his sword and attacking at Skyla.

He did notice Alyssa had arrived, the woman he met the other day at the lake, which surprised him, but also made him glad that she was alive.

Alyssa smiled towards Rija, gracious for the boost, though she doubted she would need it. After all, she was just going to help her out right back. Alyssa summoned the orb of water once more, and shot it towards Rija.

 

The Soldier, breathing heavily from the damage done, smiled graciously towards Alyssa with a nod.

Oume wants to finish this as soon as possible, and decides to attack without thought. Charging at her mindlessly swinging, "JUST DIE!!!"

Hektor clutched his side, which the earlier blow from skyla hit, not much blood coming off, frankly he was more worried about his clothing, luckily it didn't suffer much damage, reinforced clothes are wonderful indeed, he clutched his edged cane, following shortly after Oume, he ran at Skyle, and circled around her, to try and hit her from behind, along with Oume's attack in the front.
