Another night in the faux Inn... The man, covered in his brown shroud, sat across from you and the rest of the people from the day before, and he began once again.

 

"Back again today, I see..."

 

The man looked around at those seated, a faint cackle escaped from his throat. With no less than the arrival of the first round of drinks, it started again.

 

"Our story starts with some young lads and maiden's, dancers and fighters, grace, and brutality."

 

With that, your mind melted away, the images of multiple people began to float in your mind as the world around you, this inn, seemed to almost vanish...

 

"Our first scene: In the school grounds, midday, the students have been let out for lunch break..."

 

Day one: DNA of the Heart

 

 

Midday, Year 278, ENDLESS

 

The sun hung above the school of barbarians and entertainers quite lightly this day. One could only dream of such a nice day to be outside, the sun was just right, it smelled of Spring, fresh grass and newly-bloomed flowers peppered the air in their unique smell, the near-by lake shimmered  in the sunlight. A day like this was not one to be spent in a classroom, so when that bell rung, not a soul, not even the faculty could resist such a glorious day. 

 

At the center of the school's inner grounds, a fountain sat, water gently bubbling out of the faucets at the top. A blade and a ribbon, sculpted in stone, sat atop this fountain. And soon, student's decorated the benches near by. Chatting, eating, the like. Some of hem hoped to go for a quick swim in the lake before class started again, others were just genuinely glad they were able to smell the fresh air of the out doors as they sat on the cobble stone floor in the quad....

 

The lake, many called in Fluorspar Lake, was in the wide open, save a few oak trees in the landscape, providing shade and a spot for a swing, and the small cliff overlooking it which many a person dived into. The shimmering, clear water showed the fluorspar gemstones that could be found in its sand....

 

(Alright! So, for your starting post, you have either the choice of the School Quad, or the Lake to start at. For sake of ease, when entering an area you do not know much about the appearance of, put some sort of mark to indicate this. Something like a "..." or a dash will do.)

Alyssa stared wide eyed at the beast. What.... How could a monster like this even exist? Still shocked, but knowing she had to do something to survive, Alyssa summoned her water powers once more, and hurled the projectile right towards the ear that had been identified as a weak point. Getting it to drop it's guard now would probably be a decent idea.

"Simply put, it revealed its weaknesses, and it makes me look even more classy to boot! this is great!" Hektor said with a smile, as he saw Alyssa's attack at the beast, Luckily he was quite the adept climber, swiftly climbing up on the beast, managing to run accross its arms and hitting the other side of its eardrums with his cane, slashing quite a bit into it before deciding to climb off before it tried to shake him off or something, while Alyssa hit one, he hit the other, hoping it would increase the chances of stunning it.

Oume heard listened to what Hektor had to say, "Got it." Oume ran up to the beast and jumped straight up to one of the tusk, he knew he wasn't going to make it, so he put his swords around the tusk and lifted himself up to allow him to stand on it. With a lift of his sword he aimed right for the spot where the skin meets the tusk and stabbed straight down.

Shela let out a disgruntled sigh as she glanced at the beast.  "Goodness me, how many demons is this school going to throw at us?!"  She swiveled her sword before brandishing it with both hands, taking a sidestep toward the beast.  Sizing it up, Shela darted around to its side, noticing Oume rush toward one of its tusks and dig his sword into it.  "Let me give you a hand with that!"

 

She sheathed her sword and ran, gathering speed before jumping midway onto its leg.  She grasped the monster anywhere she could, trying her best not to think about the smell as she climbed upward.  Finally she reached its back, carefully grasping its spikes as she made her way to Oume.  She too struck the flesh just below its tusk, hoping this would severely wound him.

"Skyla predicted its coming rather uncannily." Syfe muttered, stabbing his dualblade back together. "But it doesn't make sense that they would have had it as a back-up plan. Their back up plan was themselves. Something else must be at play here." Syfe continued to talk to himself as he ran, making eye contact with his destination. He leaped up and onto its kneecap, then powerfully leaping up onto its hand, then focused enough to jump up to its face. He swung his dualblade down powerfully, aiming for the same tusk that Oume and Shela had set out for. He fell back to the ground, and rolled, lessening the impact. He got back up to his feet to try and prepare for his next move.

Rune and Runa's jaws dropped as they saw the gigantic...beast...thing standing before them, something which they had to inevitably would have to fight if they wanted to get out alive. "What the hell is that thing..." Rune murmured with a gasp. "Just...just something..." Runa said between gritting teeth. He rested his sword against his shoulder. "Stay alive brother, you have to fight with us now. Don't you think of falling behind!" Runa yelled, dashing to the creature as he attacked at the Tusk A.
