I was actually going to post the cinematic here but then I never saw a single Witcher 3 thread so I figured maybe it's because of the age rating or something.

 

But anyway.

 

I don't have a PS4 yet but when I get one (hopefully this xmas) this will be one of the first games I get. Really excited and some of that excitement is because it's made by an awesome dev aswell.

 

PS: Can't wait for more Cyberpunk 2077 news.

Still waiting for my game copy, compendium, and Prima Guide I pre-ordered. Getting the Prima and Compen. in about an hour from the USPS, but the game is coming from UPS and UPS won't come until late afternoon so i'm stuck waiting for it. >_< Sucks.

Yes. Now while you may not want to see it, I can tell you that in The Witcher sex scenes are pretty good and not all that awkward. They go with the story and actually feel like they have a point unlike some stuff in Game of Thrones for instance. So while I as well am not much for sex scenes I can put up with them in The Witcher.  If not you can totally skip the cutscene I guess. x3

Where you expecting something like what they show in porn? They don't do that in movies/games. They never have. Think of it as every other movie that has the characters being intimate. There's nudity of course. Like, full frontal sometimes afaik from Witcher 2. But that's as far as they go. If you've ever played God of War then it's kinda the same.

I must ask, as someone who has never played a Witcher game (although it's not out of lack of interest), would I be missing out on a whole lot by just picking up Witcher 3 on PS4 and jumping right in? I've seen a bunch of gameplay for 3 and it looks really good. I've seen the first two games go on sale on Steam a whole host of times, but my PC is the issue there (which I'm in the middle of building!). I know that Witcher 3 is the first on a Sony console so I'm wondering if this game eases people into a "last time on Witcher...." situation.

Amazon preorder bonus was the little tiny comic book, the other two big books are seperate. The Compendium, and The Collectors Edition Prima which came with the tiny tall book with the cool design which is a bestiary. Bought the other comic myself. I wish I got the Collector Edition of The Witcher though, but they sold too fast.

This game looks crazy hell good. I'll probably buy it a bit later though, either through physic format or the STEAM way, if Summer sales come along (god only knows how those are so goooood)

I think on the start menu of the game you can choose wether or not you want the game to ask you about your choices on the previous games. It's not much but it gives you an idea of what happened I guess.
