Most people aren't watching Re:coded or 358/2 Days

Posted

The PlayStation 4's trophies section shows only 20% of people who have ever inserted HD 1.5 ReMIX into their PS3 have watched all the 358/2 Days cinematics, and for Re:coded it's even worse with only 18% of people who ever inserted HD 2.5 ReMIX in their PS3 to watch all of the cinematics.

  • I liked the cinematics. I think Sora's constant talking about 'hurt' and 'hurting' got really irritating after a while in Re:Coded, but I enjoyed 358. It's nice to see what little amounted to Roxas' l

Well, they last too long and are really boring so watching them is the most difficult trophy you can get in any existing game.   358/2 Days had nothing interesting to show players who had already pl

I think doing that is even more pointless than making the HD cinematics in the first place. Yeah so they weren't as exciting as the game, so what? At least they were represented at all. Sure, I'd much

Most people buy games to play them, not to watch a movie.

Before the 1.5 HD Remix came out, I was pretty psyched about 358/2 Days being a movie. But when it actually was out and I watched it on YouTube, I had a hell of a hard time muscling through it. It gets old very quickly, especially with all the "We'll be friends forever" and "Together we can do anything" speeches.

So yeah, never watching that again. Probably not a good idea.

That's a shame. Maybe they could have made them into 358/2 Days Final Mix and Re:coded Final Mix and maybe add some material that we have not known before as well as make them as games. Everyone should keep in mind that KH3 was the behemoth that was on top all of their shoulders so if they were to make the two aforementioned titles into playable games, it would delay KH3 and what fan would want that? Re:coded's value I'd say was increased thanks to HD 2.5 ReMix and if 358/2 Days was left out, there would be people complained my that their favorite Organization XIII members were not there.

To be fair, how many of the mass audience played/finished Re:CoM and BbS in the HD collections? The smartest (if you want to say that) thing SE ever did was breaking up the HD collections to keep KH1 and KH2 separate from each other. So a bunch of people didn't get around to watching all of Days or Re:Coded, others did. I wanted to see them and lets be honest the trophies are really easy to get.

That's not counting the people who don't have PSN accounts.

It also doesn't count those who haven't synced their trophies for one reason or another. After all, not everyone has the latest updates and keeps on top of being always online and up to date.

I watched the movie for Days because I had borrowed the game from a friend and had to give it back before I could finish, but even I noticed that it was missing a pretty large amount of information. I can only assume that the Re:Coded movie does the same thing, so I'm going to play both games and probably watch the movies anyways just so I can watch some cutscenes in HD.

I liked the cinematics for 358/2days and re:coded! I watched every single cutscene in both of them. :)

I personally liked the movies for 358/2 days and re:coded for the most part. For 358/2 days I just love the story and find it looked really stunning in HD.

The only thing that annoyed me was the text you had to read, that didn't felt like a real movie. This was better made in re:coded, where Mickey is reading for you and you didn't have to click all the time for it to go on. But then the story of re:coded isn't really important, except the secret ending and I guess most people watched that already on the internet before 2.5 came out.
