(This theory is about Master Xehanort, which I will be simply stating as Xehanort.) My theory is that prior to Xehanort having the same master as Eraqus, he had another master who was originally a vessel of the 6th foreteller. Perhaps Xehanort's original master had passed the keyblade to him forcefully and erased his memory but leaving some hints of the keyblade he passed on. After that, Xehanort would be found by Eraqus's master and they would train together. Maybe Xehanort's original master will be the antagonist of the next saga?

Evidence is that Xehanort wonders what happened during the keyblade war and will cause another just to see what would happen.

I doubt Nomura would do anything that undermines Xehanort's brilliant superiority in any way. Making him just another pawn would mean MX isn't the smartest, most cleverest man in the universe, and that's just ridiculous.

Or maybe, it could be a birth By Sleep scenario in which the sixth foreteller was able to get Master Xehanort into walking the path of Darkness whilst his original Master was just as biased about the light as Eraqus.

like terra?

like terra?

Similar to Terra, the only difference is that Xehanort wholeheartedly agrees with the person influencing him towards darkness rather than being "manipulated" so to speak.

If Xehanort had another master, maybe it was Xehanort? I mean, he basically performed the inheritance ceremony on himself when he jumped into his younger body so him training himself wouldn't be to far fetched.

I also think Yen Sid was his and Eraqus' master. That old man knows way too much about him.

Simple. Adult Master Xehanort. He has not debuted yet so that's the perfect way to introduce him.

Between master.x and young.x?

Between master.x and young.x?

That is correct. Xemnas is Xehanort using Terra's body as a nobody host so he does not count as Adult Xehanort and Ansem Seeker Of Darkness is merely a heartless.
