What the title says, it can be a character, a certain part of the plot like time travel or the way a theme is handled. A certain game in the series, a gameplay mechanic. It can be anything.

 

For me: Lack of depth for Lexaeus, Xaldin, Luxord and Demyx. Each of these guys have about 4-5 lines each in the series.

I hate:

--Xion

 

I don't like:

 

--The whole time travel thing

--358/2 Days as a game..... or its focus on the biggest Mary Sue that is Xion.

--I don't really like the clunky platforming in KH1 or Re:coded

--I don't like the constant bitching from people around the webs in regards to KH3. Prior to it being revealed (and heck even afterwards) comments on the KH Facebook page in particular were filled with people who did nothing but whine "OMG PLZ ANNOUNCE KH3 STOP WIF DEEZ SPINOFFZZZ". As a fan of the series, it was increasingly frustrating to be associated with these people who called themselves fans instead of at least enjoying the games that the teams worked hard on in the years where we didn't get the chance for KH3. The media fall into this trap too, as evident with the recent KH3 trailer where they don't even know who Xehanort or Eraqus were (with IGN calling Xehanort "Riku"). I know this is a long winded point and has nothing to do with the games themselves as... well video games, but parts of the fanbase that the series has are quite possibly the most obnoxious people I've ever come across. The types who played KH1 and KH2 and feel the need to cry about no KH3 and how they've waited 10years for a proper KH game, especially when there were ones available to play. Like, it's just irritating.

--I don't like when people call the series convoluted when they don't even try to play the side stories that introduced new stuff into the story. It's like complaining that a movie sequel makes no sense when you couldn't be bothered to watch the film that came before it.

--Some of the world choices. This applies to a few worlds that I don't think should have been in the games (or re-used just because in others). Disney have a huge backlog and of course, it's ok to dip into stuff like Alice in Wonderland or Atlantica, but we shouldn't have to go there more than once.

--This might contradict my convoluted statement but.... It can be annoying when people think Kingdom Hearts is some sacred flawless series. The series has a number of issues in its writing, voice acting, certain gameplay aspects and the existence of titles like Days and characters like Terra and Xion. We love it, but it aint perfect.

 

Truth be told there aren't many things in the series that I don't like. The game offers me good gameplay (in parts), a story that I'm interested in following and a chance to play alongside the Disney characters I grew up loving and still love to this day. I really can't ask for more.

I don't like the Command deck.

Time travel and some of the bigger retcons. Also those extreme fanboys that refuse to see the flaws. You can still be a fan but recognize what needs improved.

I've been constantly...and I mean CONSTANTLY....bombarded with people that calls me a hater even if I voiced the tiniest of concerns regarding the series and it's the reason I stopped talking about Kingdom Hearts for a while here cuz this fanbase doesn't accept a middle ground it's always:If you're not with me then you're against me

 

 

Sure I love the series myself but people shouldn't deny that the way the series was handled  ever since the handheld entries was questionable at best and sometimes outright dumb at worst and KH x(chi) brought this issue right to home for me as I can't stand all the unnecessary bullshit this game has that somehow are canon and very crucial to KH3.

 

 

If people truly love this series then they shouldn't tolerate the bullshit when it'c clear right there in front of their eyes....don't be afraid of being critical and most importantly.....be a fan not a fanboyfangirl

Larxene.  She's the only thing out of the entire series that I truly despise.

 

There's plenty of other things that I don't like with the series.  But all of them have already been said by others.

I don't hate anything in KH. I see that it has flaws, but I believe that those flaws make the game more enjoyable. Except for Atlantica.

Call me nitpicky but wouldn't the flaws by there very definition detract from the quality of the product? I can see if your enjoyment of the games did not lessen in spite of the flaws but the other just doesn't work.

The fact that MX must look invincible no matter what, no matter how many @$$ Pulls and retcons it takes, no matter how many other characters lose credibility as a result, and no matter how many fans' nostalgia turns into Darkness-Induced Audience Apathy.
