It seems everywhere I go, people are talking about how Sora is going to rescue all the people from their torment, and everyone will come back to life.

I don't see this happening.

One reason: Clutter. The situation after Terra Aqua and Ventus return causes a whole new group of keybladers, much more skilled ones than Sora, to appear. It's basic storytelling that you can't just let characters better than your protagonist 'hang around'

I'm not sure how their going to write their way out of it, I can see Terra sacrificing himself to beat Xehanort in KH3. Roas and Xion will probably just disappear. Ventus might disappear, I guess.

But yeah, bringing back some 6 characters into the world wouldn't really work.

Especially when 5 of them can wield the keyblade.

And if you look at Sora's character then you'd see he's not the type to care if more than one person can use a keyblade, I mean Riku can use a keyblade and so can the king, what's five more. Plus he's also the kind of person to do things the right way. I mean he's not satisfied if the glass is half full, he wants it so full it's over flowing...at least when it comes to helping people.

 

Plus I don't think anyone of them is going to turn around and try to kill Sora.

Aqua: To unselfish, cares about others and would do anything for them if they were in need.

Ventus: Really, this one needs no explanation but just incase;

 

He's a part of Sora at the moment, plus he's only light, there's no way he would attack sora for no good reason

 

Terra: He's gotten his rear-end kicked by Sora twice already now you'd think he'd learn.

 

As for Xion and Roxas, Roxas and Sora are already on good terms with each-other and Xion technically is Sora, like Roxas there's nothing to worry about with those two.

Yo guys are forgetting the others. All together, the crippled are terra, aqua, ventus, roxas, xion, and you guys missed two. Axel and Namine. And this ones not truly a crippled sora has to save but if you want, count Ansem the Wise

That's not 'hanging around' it's being a 'main character' Riku is Soras rival. It's just bad writing to introduce a tonne of easily accessible characters.

And where did I ever say anything about them trying to kill Sora? I jsut think they'll be removed from the story over time, because the cast gets to big if they all come back. Each wielder can go through the worlds (And Axel, Roxas and Namine can go through Dark Portals.)

I'm sure some you don't get it, but it could easily self destruct the story.

Now, there's a chance that a few will survive, perhaps Ventus and Axel, with Axel returning to Radiant Bastion, and Ventus and Roxas fusing (Though I figure they'll both join up with Sora)

I'm not sure how it'll happen, but somehow the people who need to be saved will have to be removed from future games.

The ONLY way I can see this working is if they have a 'Everybody parts ways, but their still connected in their hearts' ending.

well, if Ven were to attack Sora for any reason, it would be because he had never seen what Sora looks like from his own eyes Ven has seen what Vanitas looks like and Vanitas looks a heck like

and also, when has Terra ever faced Sora twice? He only faced Sora once if you include their optional fight in Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix.

AV won't be strong at all, they havn't used a keyblade for 12 years, and they have no reason to kill Sora, or even attck him.

Xion already knows who Sora is, and Roxas and Sora are friends (i think).

I think to save Axel, they might defet his heartless?

Terra isn't stupid enough to kill anyone.

He was testing Sora in KHFM2, or he just senced AV.

Mhm! Mhm! Cuz Axel himself said there were only two people who managed to keep to their senses as Heartless (Xehanort and Sora). So it kinda makes sense that the others would be Shadows or Neoshadows or something.

I hadn't really thought about that. I still think Sora's somehow going to save them, though. I mean, I have no theories or anything, but the idea is that he's saving everyone connected to him, right? Aren't they all techinically connected to him?

Dudes, Kingdom Hearts is a fairy tale basically. Every fairy tale has a happy ending. TAV will be saved, I can assure you of that. Now will they stay around? That can't be guessed. How will they be saved? We can guess on that, but none of us truly know. Just know that TAV will be saved, Disney wouldn't allow one of them to die, and if in fact if they "disappeared", there will be a worldwide KH fan riot.

Terra, Aqua and Ven are not dead, so I think it would be bad storytelling if they just leave them where they are. And why would Ven disappear once he gets his heart back? Kairi didn't when she got her's back.

 

Personally, I think the fact that there are keyblade wielders that are better than Sora make this storyline seem more realistic.

Even Nomura has said that there is nothing special about Sora other then his ability to connect his heart with anyone.

And as VentusX stated, Nomura said that Sora will be the main character til the end. They don't need to kill Terra, Aqua and Ven for them to not be the main characters.

 

@ SoraKing3, I don't see why Disney would not allow Square Enix to kill off one of their OCs if it furthers the story. Especially since they've killed off many of their own characters. It seems more uncharacteristic of Nomura to have his characters killed off, since he has stated in the BBS Ultimania that "in the world of KH there is no concept of death".

I'm not doubting TAV will be brought back. I just don't think they will stick around. They aren't the kinds of characters that can be made easy to access. After Xehanorts defeated, what do they do? Go to Destiny Islands? It would simply be awkward to pick up when the next game came in. So I think they'll be removed in some way. whether they go off on their own, or they die somehow.

i agree with this mainly because how is roxas and Xion suffering? they are back with their original self why wouldnt they be like all good. Same thing counts for namine. Lea might come back though.

Sorry, it's just the way that you titled this post "Why TAV probably won't be saved" made it sound like you don't think they are coming back.

 

As for the storyline, there's a lot of things that TAV started in BBS that they never had the opportunity to finish. I don't think that TAV will be playable again. However, I think they are too connected to SRK to not be important to the story.

About Roxas...

 

At the end of Coded, Digital Sora has to fight a Digital Roxas who's anything but happy. This is odd because Roxas seemed accepting of his fate in the end of KH2, but in the end of Coded, Roxas is bitter at having forgotten those he was close to. That's most likely how his suffering needs to be healed.

 

 

As for Xion, her suffering is probably about her having been forgotten and Axel's suffering is probably about losing his friends.
