Yo guys, a little side project from Yuffie. This isn't meant to be as large scale or intensive as things like Skyline, The Amnesia Games, or The Tirain Pieces, but a much smaller scale free play RP in the world of The Seven Deadly Sins manga/anime. You don't have to know the world to join in though, I'm welcoming everybody!

The Seven Deadly Sins

It has been 1000 years since the Seven Deadly Sins stopped the rise of the Demon Clan and saved the world. Since then, Liones and Camelot have been given time to rebuild and gain more and more strength. Now the only two nations left on the continent, it is only a matter of time until war breaks out between the two superpowers. Ultime the King of Liones and Gawain the King of Camelot have been continually attempting to stitch relations between the nations back together, but the people and nobles of both nations have developed an overwhelming hatred towards one another. Tensions rise, and war is soon to ignite. And when it does, none will be safe.

 

Aside from the continual rise of the Human Clan's nations, the nonhumans have also been steadily thriving. The Fairy Clan and the Giant Clan both hold treaties with both the Human nations, and live in peace away from the rest of the world. However, very recently, trouble has arisen in the lands of both clans. Civil war seems imminent due to the actions of Sezier the Giant and Multius the Fairy slowly gaining the favor of the people away from the rightful rulers. Sezier and Multius are suspected to be not only working together, but with an unknown outside force.

 

Nothing has been heard from the Demon Clan since they were sealed away by the Seven Deadly Sins 1000 years ago. However, there are rumors that a few of the lesser demons have escaped the seal and live sequestered away from the rest of the world. There are also those who say that these demons have interbred with humans, creating powerful half-breeds. So far no cases of corruption from demon blood have been reported, though it is possible that certain people have found a source for the potent transformation agent.

 

The Goddess Clan remains mysterious. It is said that they died out millenia ago, but the bloodline remains to this day, often present in the Royal Family. Their power is just as incredible in the fractions that their descendants can use as it was 1000 years ago when Princess Elizabeth used it as a key factor against the demons. Recently though, more and more people have been turning up with the ability to wield the Goddesses power. What is the scariest though, is that these newborn half-divine are more often than not incredibly corrupt and evil. Multiple Holy Knights are needed to take down even one of these cruel half-divines.

 

Yesterday, there was a border incident where several Holy Knights from Camelot invaded a Liones village and began to slaughter the inhabitants. They were only stopped when a corrupt half-divine was awoken. The entire village, all inhabitants, and the invading Holy Knights were all slaughtered by the half-divine, who then vanished. In the wake of this event, and the nearly guaranteed declaration of war, Ultime has called for the formation of a new group of deadly sins. Seven incredibly dangerous criminals, convicted each of a deadly sin, assembled into a group of knights that Ultime hopes will save not only the kingdom, but restore peace to the world. Will they? That's up to you I suppose.

Rules:

1. Follow the KH13 general and roleplaying rules

2. Please have legible writing. I don't ask perfection, just enough to be able to make sense of it. I may deny you if you don't show such ability in your sheet

3. Post as often as you like and have as many characters as you can handle! I only ask that you stay with one Deadly Sin per user for now, until we get to the point that the RP is about to start.

4. If you are a human, you get to have one magical ability (such as Snatch or Gilthunder's electricity) or the ability to practice magic as a sorcerer/druid (in which case you'd be limited in strength). As one of the other 4 clans, you can have all the abilities that each race has, but nothing extra.

5. Be interesting! We don't want a bunch of boring cliches do we? Be as creative as you want, especially if you're a Sin

6. A Sin character should in some way represent their Sin, hopefully through their behavior, but also through whatever got them convicted of a crime in the first place.

I'm tempted to rewrite Lust's sheet into a bunch of viable powers just so I can stomp everything you throw at me and make my place into the Top Three RP Combat Gods.

I'd prefer you not actually. You already have 2 important characters that have a decent role in the story. And Lynn doesn't seem like she'd be good as a sin, and we'd have to either retcon or maneuver the entire story around getting Lynn back to the capital.

Yeah, you've got a good point there & that sounds to annoying just to make Lynn a sin. Well I guess we'll wait until someone wants to take the spots haha.

Personality: Generally rude and unpleasant. She makes fun of people without remorse and likes to continually show why she is better than everybody else. Slightly aloof, she has never been a people person since the core of her code is that she is better than everybody else. Viridem is proud of anything she has ever achieved, including the less savory activities she has partaken in.

 

Sin: Pride

 

Race: Human

 

Bio: Viridem was born in the poorest of the poor. A slum with no redeeming features, where people would turn to violence and manipulation in order to survive. Abused and beaten even by her own family, the only thing young Viridem had to comfort her was her mental assurance that she was better. It was the only thing that kept her going. I'm better than them. She thought. I am better than all of them. She took pride in her body, her mind, her actions, her words. She separated herself from others at the earliest opportunity, in order to keep herself in a position above everybody else. "Look, there's Viridem. She's the best." She expected them to say. And when they didn't, she would show them why. Whether that meant physically beating them up, passing them up in a test of wits, winning a race. It didn't matter. Because she said she was better, she was. That's all it took for her to become a practical Princess among her peers, and even among her elders. But she didn't stop there. She was aiming for the top. The Kingdom. At 18 she took over a crime syndicate, and began preparation for a coup. I'm better than King Ultime, she thought to herself. Prettier, smarter, stronger. She staged her coup four months ago. It didn't go quite according to her plan due to a certain snitch. Her trial occurred recently, and she was sentenced to execution. Her only possible redemption were the Seven Deadly Sins. However, those spots filled rather quick. But when news reached King Ultime of the death of Pride and Lust, she was instantly placed in the position.

 

Sacred Treasure: Eternal Gale: A 6 foot lance with a 2 foot blade creating an 8 foot instrument of death. The long wooden handle can shrink down so that the lance is instead a short sword. Alternatively, the handle can extend a bit and the blade will fold sideways, creating a war axe. Each form offers several advantages and disadvantages to Viridem, and she chooses to change frequently. Eternal Gale also gifts Viridem with complete control over the element of wind, giving her flight, wind assisted speed, and powerful gusts to blow projectiles and enemies back.

 

Abilities:

 

"I'm Simpy Better": This mindset and her incessant training of her body has offered her the complete peak of human ability. Incredible speed, dexterity, strength, not to mention her sharper than average wits. As long as she believes this mantra of hers, which is as long as she has lived basically, her abilities increase even more, beyond human capabilities. Not strength like a giant's, or endurance like a half-divine, or even speed like a fairy's, just more than a human. She is very well rounded in terms of her capabilities.

 

"You Screwed Up": Whenever someone makes a mistake within her view, Viridem's Pride based abilities get a short boost, increasing her senses, strength, and speed for up to five seconds. The mistakes are generally within her judgment, so if someone makes something they don't see as a mistake but Viridem can take advantage of it, then the boost is activated anyway.

 

"Hmph. Weak.": Her general magical ability, the more hits she lands on an opponent, the stronger it gets. It begins with a slight fiery aura around her weaponry after one hit. As she lands more blows, the fiery aura becomes literal fire, spreads to over her body, and she gains mastery over the fire. As she continues to land blows, more things land under her control. Ice, lightning, plants, in that order. Her capabilities also continue to increase, to rival those even of a half-breed or half-divine. Once the combat is over, or she is incapacitated, the hit voter resets.

 

Alright, no time for Lust right now. Also, Lust will contain Valhite's backstory, so pretend like Soul never put what he did there. These two will come in after we reach the border.
