Posted July 7, 201510 yr What do think of when you hear the word APPROPRIATE? I think of being polite and dressing for the occasion, such as wearing a Church Shirt to Church is appropriate. (Don't know what those specific shirts are called) Edited July 8, 201510 yr by Steven Drake (SteVentus)
July 8, 201510 yr I thought of rape. Only because I read the title of Yuno's thread before clicking this one.
July 8, 201510 yr Clothes. For some reason, I always think of clothing. Mostly because the word tends to come up when females discuss outfits and styles. "Hmm...no, a bit too revealing." "Ah, that top shows a lot of cleavage..." "Hmm, are you sure that's appropriate for such and such occasion?" I also think of Sexual content. Particularly innuendos used in Games or Movies.
July 8, 201510 yr I think of conduct and behaviour... like 'inappropriate' as in public urination, exhibitionism, excessive foul language, barking, meowing, punching walls, graffiti...etc Appropriate is the opposite of Inappropriate

July 8, 201510 yr I'm British, we swear! Though I don't in front of kids;) When I think of appropriate, I think of situations where you have to behave a certain way. Like when you go to a funeral, or a wedding, you should behave accordingly
July 8, 201510 yr It depends on the situation, really. From clothes to behavior. Then there's naughty thoughts like mostly everyone is mentioning. *naughty.jpg*
July 8, 201510 yr I think of both attire and behavior. Attire as in, are you dressed professionally if the situation calls for it? Or, are you dressed properly to go out in public? Or... are you dressed at all? Even if you don't have to dress professionally, if you're in public don't just let it all hang out either (and in case someone's about to get mad at me, I mean this for guys and girls, I DON'T WANT TO SEE TOO MUCH OF EITHER OF YOU). If you're at home then wear whatever you want, though. Behavior as in, don't heavily use vulgar language, respect other people, and don't commit crimes.
July 8, 201510 yr I think of clothes when I hear that word. It's like the first thing that comes to mind. Edited July 8, 201510 yr by Kaito Daimon
