There's so many heartless in the Kingdom Hearts universe. There's Search Ghost, Sheltering Zone, Sea Neon, Screwdiver, Aquatank, Gargoyle, Wight Knight, Pirate, Air Pirate, Battleship, Neoshadows, Darkball, Wyvern, Defender, Wizard, White Mushroom, Black Fungus, Rare Truffle, Invisible, Angel Star, Bit Sniper, 

Spring Metal, Air Viking, Magic Phantom, Perplex, Runemaster, Iron Hammer, Mad Bumper, Silent Launcher, Reckless, Lance Warrior, Necromancer, and Aerial Champ. That's just some of the many heartless. With these many heartless, surely people have favorite heartless. So, which heartless is your favorite? I have to say Neoshadows. They gang up at Sora in groups, while aiding each in battle and revive each other. They provide the perfect challenge for level one walkthroughs.

As far as pureblood Heartless, Invisibles.  To me they had the right amount of menacing and looked cool.  Plus I like their swords.

 

As far as emblem, Defenders.  I find it fascinating they use dog-like shields to cast magic.

 

As far as bosses, Hunter of the Dark (or Red-Eye, whatever).  It's design kind of reminds me of Dark Thorn, but more feral.  Also I love the song used when fighting it.

Of all the Heartless I've battled throughout the games, I have to say that this bad boy is my all time favorite!

There's just something about Invisibles that I can't resist, ya know?  They just look so sinister and ominous, and battling against one of these bad boys proves to be a struggle, but one that can be overcome with enough skill.  I really wish the Invisible would come back, so I'm hoping this devious thing makes it back in Kingdom Hearts III!

Of all the Heartless I've battled throughout the games, I have to say that this bad boy is my all time favorite!

 I've read somewhere that it says "Hard Core".

Soldier, Darkside, those Rhapsody's that leave behind bright white orbs, the living statues from Beast's Castle, and the ones that shape like cars in Timeless River. Speaking of which, those living cars peaked an interest to me when their halfway slain. Like they foreshadow a possible retcon.
