I fail at making signatures ._.

Last night, I was bored, and decided to make a signature. x.x;; It fails. Epicly.

The stock image I used was from one of the Sukisho visual novels (can't remember which one. DX) and it was wayyy to big, but I still wanted to have the whole image, so I had to squish it. And, as a result, everything looks fuzzy and pixelated (like Sora's hair....ESPECIALLY Sora's hair....).

Meh, it's not really anything special. All I did was add a a couple effects to make it look pretty. It's really rushed because the picture started to creep me out after a bit, and I just wanted to finish it. XDDDD (Shuddup...it was midnight, and I was alone in the dark while listening to the Higurashi OST.) I might finish it up eventually....but I'm happy with the sig I have now and I doubt anyone would want it (I have no friends that like Sukisho....D8 ), so I don't really feel the need to. :P

If you're good at making signatures....please please please give me advice. DX I really want to learn how to become better at making sigs.

Before I completely forget, the quote on it is from the Sukisho manga (Chapter 8...I think. xD).

Well, its kinda pixel-y. For my sigs, I use PS CS3 and 4. If you're using those programs, layers help. A LOT. xD

Yeah. x.x (I knew I shouldn't have stretched it......) I use Paint.net. XDDDDD I can add layers with it...but whenever I do, it doesn't really end well. ^^;; I'm trying to figure it out though...

Well, layers are all about gradients, text, and stuff so yeah, try practicing on black canvases or a simple picture of something. Already-edited photos are harder to work with, since you might mess up balances with the colors. Any other tips, just ask ^__^

Gimp is a good alternative to PS (and its free) and I prefer it over Paint.net (Which I have used before as well) It might be a little confusing at first, but thats why I looked up tutorials on sites. Thats the program I use to make my signatures. Its not as GOOD as PS, but its good enough.

I hate streched images. Its just weird. I scale down renders, but I dont usualy scale them down to the point where they are all pixely, and just usualy use part of the render or stock image. Its also kind of boring, because you didn't really do anything to it. Try adding a little pizzaz. 8D

You might want to download some fonts at places like dafont. There, you can get really interesting fonts.

If you do get gimp, you have all of these alternatives. You can also download brushes from DA and have really cool signatures. On mine, I used a vector brush pack and some other pack.

IF you need any help, I'll be there =w=

wil that is god a little pixey but still good i use gimp2 for mine but now i have to start over becous of my lossing everthign in my com...

Mate, an interesting sig of course, abit stretched widely but besides that, Gimp would be a nice thing for you to use. I use it, whenever I have an idea.

Well, it's just kind of...squished. xD Otherwise I like it, though.

Despite its pixel-ness, it's decent. :3
