I've had an idea about a few months ago for a Square-Enix crossover, where all of the IPs, both Western and Eastern, and not just the games, come together for one big brawl. However, all I had in mind were the gameplay mechanics and the roster, so forgive me for being short.

Gameplay Mechanics:The game would have a Dissidia/J-Stars-esque team-based battle system. It would be 3v3 with an assist character on each team. The combat would be fast-paced, basically on-par with games like Metal Gear Rising in terms of pure adrenaline-fueling scale. There would be a variety of different modes, like a standard Vs. mode and training mode, or more creative modes, like how much damage you can give in 60 seconds, and one like the Struggle battles in KH2. The way the game works is each member in the match has one life, so if everyone dies, the match is over. There's even an experience system based on your skill. For example, if you did really well, you get a lot of EXP(bonus if you get a Perfect). If you do really poorly, however, you're not getting much. There's also a weapon upgrade system and weapon fusion system, where you can combine 2 weapons for a single character, and the result would be a stronger weapon with a new ability. Onto the fighting mechanics. Every character has a light attack,a heavy attack, a special attack, and an ultimate attack called a "Life Unbirth". It's an instant kill move, if you couldn't tell.

Roster: This is just the roster I had in mind, and, like I said, spans from Eastern and Western game franchises, and various anime and manga they had a hand in.

I'd play that. The idea of it sounds really awesome!

that's like 70 characters

Dude, this idea of yours is really badass!  I'd totally play a fighting game with a roster that impressive!  And the gameplay mechanics you explained are pretty rad as well! You should definitely pitch this idea to Square, because a game like this could make good money! :D

Far fetched, but I would totally play the hell out of this game lol

Nice idea although there may be too much characters to put in one game

And I thought SSB4 had a huge character roster.

Mother of rosters...

Not gonna lie, I would preorder that in a heartbeat.
