The ending is still undecided yet. But how about two or more endings? There should be a point in the story where the timeline splits into two or more pieces. Everyone would be satisfied and SE can decide about which ending should be canon for KH4. There can be a good ending, a bad ending, etc.

 

I have some other ideas in mind, but first let me hear your opinions about this.

whats the point of having multiple endings to satisfy everyone and then later on have SE come back to say "Actually this one was the only official ending," thus upsetting fans anyways can't please everyone so let's just stick to one ending and if it upsets some people then they'll have to get over it i guess

Multiple endings tend to go hand in hand with some kind of karma system, where you can only get the good ending if you do good stuff and vice versa for the bad ending. Or it's how Deus EX HR did it, the room filled with buttons that each give their own ending. 

 

I prefer a well-planned story that has a definitive end. This saga will have been going on for about 15 years when KH3 comes out, and it deserves one good, final ending.

It is the case in Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. It only sticks to one ending of the prequel, but it had four endings.Btw this idea came into my mind because of Life is Strange ^^ Excellent game.

ahh well im just saying that as a means to please fans it wouldn't work very well since SE ruling a specific ending as the true one later on would upset fan who liked the other endings. 

and yea i've heard plenty of great things about Life is Strange, especially since episode 4 has come out. I've been meaning to check it out

I prefer how it went in BBS. Have the same end (maybe two different ending perspectives if Sora and Riku are playable) and have a further final episode ending like Aqua had. It makes the most sense and it'll be awesome to unlock a further ending.
