Well that is a shame, but they could remake them some day. It wouldn't have to be AAA. I'd be happy with low-budget, PS2 standard remakes. They'll remaster (or remake) DDD someday I believe.

That's different cause those are HUGE heavily promoted Nintendo franchises. They were always stating "playable on DS and 3DS systems" which sold it. Not only was the DS almost finished when re:coded was released, but the series was always better received on Sony platforms (except for re:chain, and that's only cause it was released in two countries and late life at that) which explains the bad sells of the DS games. On top of that, SE's promotion for it was terrible.

Tell that to everyone who was bored with the spin-offs and annoyed at buying other systems for KH games. coded/Re:coded added no important story until the secret movie which should have just been in KH3D.

 

It should have went like this:

 

New KH team continues developing BbS for PS2 instead of remaking CoM.

After that, then they make KHDDD for PSP.

Then they remake CoM for PSP.

Finally, they begin development of KH3 for PS4 & Xbox One. During this, they outsource two HD collections for PS4, PS3 & PS Vita.

I'm sorry but that assessment of how the series should have gone is just ridiculous. We can agree to disagree about Birth by Sleep's console of choice, but KH3D on PSP? Re:CoM for PSP? Seems fine the way they are if I'm being honest.

Topping Steam charts means nothing. You wouldn't believe the tripe that gets on that list each week. I also wasn't comparing the XIII saga to ALB. You take digs at Nomura as if others don't make mistakes. You also never seem to have anything good to say about Nomura and the KH series considering the type of forum this is. Tetsuya Nomura provided the original concept and served as creative producer. Square Enix didn't develop it, bitGroove did.

I say it's kinda convenient. Just swiping the screen, despite the risk. I honestly hate games that are turn based, you tell people what to do. Don't get me wrong, It's cool, you are using your head. But, I just like pressing buttons, to kick some butt with magic, combos, strong attacks, etc.
