Okay guys, so I made this account merely for this posting.. I've always thought this would be awesome ever since I played the original, and wanted to get you're guys' points of view. It's to do with what occurs at the worlds when the darkness of the heartless has taken over before you save and lock the world. The plan is based off the original, but I always thought of how cool it would be if Square Soft adjusted the atmosphere of the worlds when under the darkness, much like the difference between Alice in Wonderland and American McGee's Alice.. The worlds would have a more dark and twisted disturbing nature until you actually saved them, and everything would transition back to being magical fun safe and to your advantage as you took back control over the world.. I was hoping to hear your guys' ideas on how this could be implemented to make the most addictive Kingdom Hearts ever made..

Although it would be nice to see an impact of the heartless roaming around in the worlds there are two reasons I don't think this'll happen:

1. The worlds wouldn't look normal until Sora seales the keyholes (or saves the worlds) and so you wouldn't see the actual beauty of each world till the end, which would be sad.

2. There will always be heartless in the worlds as long as there's darkness in the hearts of the people, so the worlds would never look really normal.

P.S. Welcome to KH13 :D

Disney are very finicky when it comes to the depiction of their properties. As awesome as that would be, I highly doubt that would happen.

Sora probably wouldn't be so cheerful all the time. Nothing makes someone more cynical than slaying countless of grotesque beasts.

Come to think of it, this would be like a KH/Bloodborne mix, and I am totally okay with that.

It makes sense, though. In some cases, that's kind of happened already with the original worlds. (Hollow Bastion) I do feel like it'd be a waste to screw with the look of each world until you unlock the Keyhole. Neat idea, though.

That's cool guys, well it would probably be a more mature version.. Maybe if Square Soft put out two versions, lol.. One can only dream.. And if the heartless were to come back, the world would only make subtle changes in things such as the dialogue of characters music and sky and such until the zone was then cleared again.. And if not cleared, that zone would become dark again and cause a respreading of the darkness..

These are just ideas open to theory though.. I don't see why we couldn't discuss possibilities, after all forums are for discussions.. ;)
