Definitely gameplay which showcases a new world, most likely Frozen. We may hear more of the story as well and the game's progression from Nomura in an interview.

I honestly think they should stick with the formula from E3: announce a world, and then show it in a gameplay trailer with a few new mechanics.

Personally, the world from The Black Cauldron (not very successful though) or Treasure Planet. I'm sure whatever they show us nonetheless will be beautiful. I'd like to see Halloween Town again, but that's not going to happen unfortunately!

Since they've already leaked some worlds, it's possible that they'll leak more but at the same time they might compensate for showing new worlds by showing something else instead, like cutscenes, different characters you can play as, but if not then most likely they'll show worlds that they've already showcased but in more depth, like actually seeing Hercules or Rapunzel in the game. That's just my two cents anyway

Disney avoids The Black Cauldron like the plague it was. The only respect The Black Cauldron ever got was a Tumblr post commemorating its creation. That's it. I'm not saying that The Black Cauldron is not possible, rather, for the ultimate Disney fan event, they don't want to bring Disney's arguably biggest animated failure to the forefront of Kingdom Hearts 3.

 

I'm placing my money on a Frozen reveal and Agrabah return. We'll probably get Riku and Kairi costumes alongside poential guest appearence from Hayley Joel Osment and David Gallagaher, Jesse McCarthy and Ben Dinskin alongside Tetsuya Nomura, Tai Yasue, Yoko Shimomura and Utada Hikaru.

I assumed that it isn't since I have no idea what else they could do with it, and that the majoirty of the world's will be new.

a annoucemnt of Xehanorts new eng and jap va would be nice. Theres no point in hiding that we already know hes gunna be in the game its not some huge plot secret.

Popularity of a movie or how successful it was doesn't necessarily dictate whether it will appear in Kingdom Hearts; Tron was considered a huge disappointment by Disney, and that didn't stop it from appearing in KH2. 

 

I'd argue there are more important factors that go into deciding what worlds to include than simply success; adaptability of the story, possibilities for combat, clear villain, party members, etc. We're running out of new worlds to include in the series, and the Black Cauldron has everything going for it in regards to those factors.

 

If we can have a world based on a direct-to-video movie that not many people have ever seen (Country of the Musketeers), then a Black Cauldron world is entirely possible.

 A story trailer would be awesome! Perhaps they could place the release date at the end of it too to further intensify hype.

Again, I'm not saying that The Black Cauldron will not be in Kingdom Hearts 3, rather, it will not be shown for D23. And I double checked on your facts for Tron, here's what Wikipedia has stated about the success of Tron: Tron was released on July 9, 1982 in 1,091 theaters in the United States.

The film was a moderate success at the box office, but received positive reviews from critics who praised the groundbreaking visuals and acting, but the storyline was criticized at the time for being incoherent. 

 

If it really was a disappointment then Tron Legacy would have never been made. Disney outright hates The Black Cauldron and it's not just because of financial reasons. The animators hated animating it and the Chief Creative Officer at the time, Jeffery Katzenberg (now the boss of DreamWorks Animation) cutted out so much content of the film by himself despite being told not to by Michael Eisner (the head honcho of Walt Disney Animation at the time) which saddened the animators.

 

Don't get me wrong, I'm all for The Black Cauldron, but, it'll be hard to implement seeing as we already have a forest world in the form of Tangled which is very similar, and, we also have the issue of Disney not being as supportive and collaborative of The Black Cauldron as opposed to other Disney works.

I think D23>E3, since this expo will dedicated to Unchained and KH3. Square Enix won't have to worry about any other developers like they did at E3, where they only had a set amount of time to showcase their games. D23 for them will be all KH3 and Unchained Chi

Utada Hikaru, a Pixar world or the characters. The release date isn't ready.

It could possibly be the opening intro for the game. I i'm not mistaken, one of the KH2 trailer's ended up being the intro to the game itself.

Either way, I'd love to see the following:

 

-New Utada Hikaru song

-New World reveal (obviously)

-An overly dramatic Sora angrily slashing at the screen with his keyblade before the scene dissipates to reveal the KH logo and an early 2016 release date

I LOVE that last idea, that would leave us in awe

I think a Riku costume for definite, I already mentioned it in that other thread that I can't remember the name of

I think a new world reveal is also in the cards for us, fingers crossed The Jungle Book

I hope we'll get more on the story of the game. As of now, we know next to nothing.
