Some children are more easily influenced than others, also games like CoD and GTA have ratings for a reason, like I said before why are parents complaining if they're the ones who let their kids play in the first place?

Most of society's problems come from parents so yeah, that's an easy way out of the conversation. Baby gangs, thieves, bad behaviour people, violent attitude or swearing kids etc etc: most of these problems can be easily related to parenting problems.

Rating systems have always meant nothing. Noone even looks at them.

I think most of you are overestimating a child's mind. While I obviously agree with Lea, violence will often, if not always, bring to more violence. It doesn't matter where violence come from but children are really easily influenced by everything they see or listen. They tend to imitate them.

Of course, media and such tend to inflate the problem but that's what they do with everything.

Children can be more capable than you might think. You'd be surprised.

Just put the words "Incompetent" and "Parents" together and what do you get? The main reason behind bad kids. Video Games, Movies and such are mere tools, instruments that once in the hands of such a Parent, can lead to bad things. Not by the fault of the Developers or Movie Directors, but the fault of Parents who did not teach their children the difference between Right and Wrong. Or Fantasy and Reality. Or anything of the sort.

Seriously? Are some people this ignorant? Let's remind these people that most of the problems in the world have nothing to do with videogames. Some were present before video-games were made.
