    Did it even come out yet?

    No and no. By all accounts, MGSV looks like it'll be one of the best videogames of all time, actually, and that's with no exaggeration. I'm not sure what the title of the thread is supposed to imply, but the main controversy surrounding it is mostly in relation to Hideo Kojima and Konami, not the game itself.

    the only negative press that ive seen about the game itself is the mobile esc implementation of micro transactions to make certain parts of the game easier

    A lot of bad stuff has been happening with Konami: MGS creator Hideo Kojima leaving Konami & his name taken off the cover of the game, cancellation of Silent Hills (which Kojima was in charged of), and Konami treating their staff like garbage.

    They are probably going to discontinue making the game with the Kojima logo on the cover (weird I know) I don't think they are going to discontinue the game all together Konami can't really afford it (Then again they are pretty much a dead company anyway)

    Dose that really matter? I mean Phantom Pain is going to be the last Metal Gear game that Kojima makes aka the canon true Metal Gear (although Revengeance was really good) but don't worry we will get all those Metal Gear games for mobile so there is that....
