You pretty much summed it up for me.

My hopes are that the game may have an intriguing story, that the gameplay be fun and engaging, that the tradition of skits remains, that it takes a long set of hours to complete, and finally, I hope that there'll be lots of costumes that can be unlocked for the characters!

The dlc chapter included in the game? People were angry about that dlc and how the main story handled a certain character. Something about the camera and lag in cutscenes. I'm more interested in Berseria than in Zestiria to be honest.

Well hopes are basically wants for Zestiria

 

1. The graphics look amazing! 

 

2. The gameplay seems to be good (so far)

 

3. The story seems like it's going to be good. (so far) I hope that the story for this game is as good as Tales of the Abyss and Tales of Xillia's stories. 

 

4. Namco confirmed that this game is going to have an Anime.

Heck yeah! I'm hyped too! It's gonna be so epic.

There hasn't been a Tales game I've disliked before but this.... looks like it ain't breaking that chain anytime soon!!!

Isn't the anime just the beginning of the game? If it is, I already seen the subbed.

I want this game so badly!!!! X_X  Tales games are always amazing, and Zestiria looks like it'll be yet another great game in the Tales series!

I've heard bad things about the game so far, though I can't tell if it's justified or they're just bitter about Alisha. So I'm a bit sceptical at this point, but I'll buy the game regardless, just not the special edition.

I don't have a ps4 yet and seeing that both of the games are going to be on both systems makes me happy because I don't have enough money to get a ps4 and I probably won't be able to get one for another year or so. I'm not just happy for myself, I feel happy for the people who either have a ps3 or a ps4 because people won't be complaining about not being able to play the games because it's not on either the ps3 or the ps4.People now don't have to wait a VERY long time just to play a game that CAN be put on both systems.  I believe that this was the VERY good choice that bandai namco made because of what I said earlier. What do you guys think about the decision that bandi namco made? Do you like it, or do you want to bandai namco to slowly make their tales games ps4 exclusives so that the people that don't have  a ps4 yet at least have a chance of saving up their money for the ps4.

Tales of the Abyss 3d is a 3ds game(ps2 port) and other two games that I mentioned on this topic are games that are coming out on those platforms. Tales of Zestiria s coming out in late October and Tales of berseria is probably coming out in late 2016- early 2017 for us.

The tales games are like KH and the tales games that most people would say is the best tales game for the ps2 is Tales of the Abyss.

You may want to hold your breath about Berseria.  The reason Japanese developers still make games for the PS3 is because most people in Japan still have a PS3 and haven't adopted a PS4 yet.  Here in America where a majority have switched, they aren't making PS3 games.  The new Star Ocean is a good example: It is releasing on both platforms there, but only on PS4 here.  Zestiria is another example, released only on PS3 in Japan, but being ported to PS4 here because that is where they believe the strongest sales will come from since most people in the west have a PS4.  Even the collector's edition is only for PS4 users.  I am pretty positive the Berseria will see a PS3 & PS4 launch in japan, but only a PS4 release in the western markets.  It doesn't make sense for them to release a game on the PS3 in the west because the sales figures won't be there to justify it.

I really hope that Berseria is going to come out on the ps3 here because I don't have a ps4 yet and it would be nice for them to bring the ps3 version of Berseria to NA. If it doesn't, depending on when it's coming out if the game is going to be ps4 only in America, that may be a problem for me until I have enough money to get a ps4.
