I'm just curious. Hoping I can get my own idea of what it will be like through you guys. And by opening, I mean the music at the beginning along with the cut scene.

You remember Riku vs Ansem and Sora vs Marluxia in the KH2 opening?

I want Ventus vs Vanitas and Sora vs Roxas like this in the new opening.

I honestly would have expected something like the 3D intro to be for KH3 but since they've already done that I'm not sure. If they can't get a new song for the intro I wouldn't mind if they went with Fate of the Unknown, seeing how this is the final chapter in this saga and is sure to be the darkest, why not go with that song? I feel like it'd make for a pretty decent opening theme.

Only because I don't want to hear one of the already overused songs for a new numbered installment.

 

(although I guess I wouldn't mind Passion Orchestral ver. for the intro either since we don't hear that too often)

I just got an amazing idea! (In my opinion at least ). Since we know that the first cutscene in the game will be the conversation between Young Eraqus and Young Xehanort while playing chess, it would be AWESOME if after their conversation ends, music starts playing and the camera zooms into the chess board and transitions into tiny clips of the final battle without spoiling anything. (Kind of like the transition from Namine's drawing in the KH2 intro.) Then after showings bits, we get a recap of ALL the KH games before 3. Like the DDD opening but including Chi, Birth By Sleep, Re:Coded and obviously Dream Drop Distance.

Not bad but I don't think fans would to see every time that scene to see the opening unless they will be seperated.

However it would be epic to see the chesspieces Sora and Xehanort being transformed to start the opening.
