okay guys I can't win this debate, but I won't declare my defeat (at the moment). I have to admit your arguments are better than mine but I think now there aren't enough proof to say you're absolutely right

 

In my defense I'll just say I'd like that only Ven is returning because I find it difficult to imagine two identical characters to be around in KH3, does this really not bother you?

Who are the people who love Roxas the most? Who are the people Roxas loves the most? Axel and Xion. Both were the reason Roxas grew his own heart, so it's only natural that Roxas will look exactly the same when he returns, because Axel and Xion remembered him so.

Do you remember the scene in KH2 where Namine was talking to Roxas in front of Kairi and Sora in the end? They talk about how they will see each other as they remember each other. That should mean he will still look the same and Xion would look the same ( the black haired version of Kairi). Namine would look the same.

Roxas is the best-written character and a fan favourite and DDD implies he's guaranteed to return. He needs some more time to shine

I have a theory that Aqua will make it out of the darkness, meet Sora again, feel Ven's presence within Sora, take Sora to Ven in Castle Oblivion, do something to separate Ven from Sora, put Ven back in Ven, Ven wakes up, Roxas is somehow also separated, Ven and Roxas are like what, Sora is confused and asks why Roxas was in the chair and now there are two of him, Aqua is like why am I stuck with these children, Aqua then leaves and starts a new life as a hermit on Destiny Islands, Ven and Roxas fight it out to be the dominate one, and they all live happily ever after until darkness consumes everything.
