At the Persona Special Stage, it was announced that Persona 5 would be getting its own anime.

Not much was revealed regarding as to what it would be in regards to P5, whether it be an actual full length anime covering the entirety of P5, or some type of prologue to the game. Hell, not many images were shown either, the image above is juat a screenshot of one of P5's anime cutscenes.

at least it's not a full on series based on the game. that'd make me a bit worried that atlus was trying to get the milking machine up and running again for Persona 5. im ok with a short special anime though. probably something to establish the premise or the characters, maybe showing off a typical heist by the main character or something

No no no Atlus!Release the game first, and THEN spin it off into other formats lol

They said special, it's not gonna be full length.

That's a mistake in judgement, not straight up lying like this would be. It'll inevitably get a full series, but not right away.
