RUMOUR: Darth Vader Returns: Star Wars: Episode VIII

Featured Replies

I thought he died at the end of episode 6 :(

Probably some ressurection style thingy

I already knew this, and I thought a lot of people did too. Darth Vader will probably appear as a flashback, as a ghost (although that should be Anakin) or a trial (like in Episode V, in Dagobah), or at least, these are my thoughts.

This was rumored a LOOOOOOOOONGGGGGG time ago, a little bit after episode 7 was announced as a matter of fact.

And up to this point its still a rumor, so who knows if theyre gonna do anything with Vader.

That's a rumor and I highly doubt it. Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader's story is over so I don't think he will appear, not even a flashback either. And to me James Earl Jones is Darth Vader while Hayden Christensen is just Anakin Skywalker. But that's just me.

You did see him as a force ghost at the end of Return of the Jedi.  I don't even know how I remember that seeing that it's been like six years since I saw any of those movies.

I don't want DV as himself in the movie, Episodes 1-6 are techinically Anakin's story. His story is over now, he died and fulfiled his purpose.
