Did....Did Disney just make The Jungle Book badass??

Huh. Well that certainly is....something. Hopefully they still do a good job on the humor, since most of these characters won't be able to make us laugh based on appearance alone. Baloo doesn't look as silly anymore, so hopefully Bill Murray will be able to do a good job in recapturing that charming laziness that the cartoon gave us. Shouldn't be too hard, it's right up his ally.

Honestly, I don't really know what to think about this at the moment. I'm not really into Disney making live-action remakes of Disney classics, but I guess I'll give this one a shot.

This remake is actually going to be good. The original novel of The Jungle Book was much darker and this portrays that really well!

Plus, the star cast of Idris Elba, Bill Murray, Ben Kingsley, Christopher Walken and Scarlett Johannsen looks very promising!

Looks promising.

The Jungle Book 2016 and Beauty and the Beast 2017 are the only two live-action Disney movies I'm looking forward to. The Jungle Book 2016 looks very promising and I like that they're combining the original Rudyard Kipling story and the animated Jungle Book 1967 version. My only con about this film is that they're making Kaa a villain again instead of becoming Mowgil's friend like in the book, but everything else is fine to me.
