"...mie..."

"...Jay......mie..."

"Jaymie!"

Jaymie Ray woke up with a start, sitting up and placing a hand on her helmet. She looked around and found herself in... A jungle. The jungles of Venus at that. But where the hell in Venus? Jaymie saw her Ghost, who was frantically flying around her in worry.

"Jaymie! Jaymie! Jay!" Spark said in worry, hovering in front of her face. "Are you okay? Are you hurt? I think we crashed the ship..." He stated. Jaymie looked behind her to see her prized ship, the "Challenger" wrecked to pieces. She instantly stood up and looked at the damage in grief.

"Oh my God NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Jaymie cried, looking at the remnants of her pride and joy. "My baby! My precious ship..."

Spark looked over to his Guardian. "I'm not precious...?"

Jaymie looked over to her Ghost. "You're precious but my ship is precious too! And now she's gone... Can you tell Cayde we crashed so he can send someone?"

Spark nodded. "Okay! Hm... I'm not getting any signal... I'm can't make any sort of communication with anyone."

Yui got up, deep in the forest of Venus.  "What happened?" She said, shaking her head.  "Our ship got taken out by a strange signal and crashed." Orion, Yui's ghost, said.  "I'm just glad I was able to warp you out before you took any real damage."  "What about communications, can we reach Ikora or the other Vanguards?" Yui asked.  "No, there's no signal." Orion replied.  "Damn it." Yui said.  "Well, might as well find out where we are."  She brushed herself off and started wandering around.

"...hey...hey...HEY. RISE AND SHINE SUNSHINE SOMETHING HAPPENED."

Once Alistair returned to his senses, he noticed he want in the ship's resting bay anymore. Instead he was...in a jungle, at Venus. How? "What the-?!" Alistair sat up, looking around as he looked down at himself. "Finally you're up. You didn't break anything but the fact I didn't had to revive your butt still surprises me." Otto said, floating around Alistair as he stood up. "Wait, so the ship crashed?" Alistair asked. "Yeah. I tried waking you up but the whole thing went kaboom faster than I could yell at you." Otto explained. Alistair sighed. "The one time I shut down for five minutes and this happens. Five minutes!" "I know. Your luck sucks. You know what also sucks? I can't get any signal. At all. If we don't get rescued we could starve to death!" Otto exclaimed. Much to Alistair's amusement. "Otto...we don't eat." "...oh yeah." Otto floated away. "Still, I don't want to stay here forever. The humidity will make me rust or something." Otto whined. "Don't be so drastic. Surely we just have to find a higher elevation to get better signal. It wouldn't surprise me that all of this vegetation might get in the way." Alistair said simply as he checked up on his weapons and decided on a random direction. "Come on. If we start walking we're bound to find someone or something." Alistair said as he began to walk off, Otto following. "Hey, hey Alistair. Why did the chicken cross the road?...TO GET TO THE OTHER SIDE!"

This would be a long day.

Minor damage has been sustained.....

Motherboard intact.......

Gyro-stabilizer intact..........

There is a low hum that begins as Sorraxe opens his eyes and the natural low purple glow of his eyes and face flickers back on. He raises his head to looks around and sees nothing but dense devastated forest and fire. He holds his neck and rotates his head to try and sate the tension in his neck. "I guess the Ward of Dawn worked because I'm still alive" he says still rotating his head. Wing, his ghost, appears "We're still alive" she say to correct him. Sorraxe gets to his feet and brushes himself off. "Alright, Alright. We're alive" he says to put Wing at ease. Wing rolls her eye and flies into the air. "I'm getting nothing" she says. "Hmm..... check for any Guardians in the area" he commands her. She flies around the area and gets something. "I'm getting Guardian signatures this way" she informs him as she hovers back to him. "Good! That means that there are survivors. I'm glad". He picks up his hand cannon and puts it in its holster. He then picks up his shotgun and machine gun. He shoulders the shotgun and puts the machine gun on his back. He then cautiously makes his way into the dense forest. "I hope Jaymie is okay" he mutters under his breathe.

...Get.....up....

Hector!.....

GET THE firetruck UP!" The ghost called "Smithy" literally yelled at Hector's ear, as he quickly rose up from being suddenly waken up, with his ears ringing from the loud yell, "Alright...god..." Hector muttered as the ghost flew in front of him "Alright! you're up! im not gonna have to drag your ass!...even though I have no hands." the ghost joked as Hector simply frowned as he walked beside it and looked at his crashed ship, and his eyes nearly shot out of his face when he saw in how bad a state it was "Valkyrie-O5X..." Hector muttered as his ghost flew right beside him, "Oh come on we can get another, im worried about OUR BLOODY WEAPONS!" Smithy spoke, which Hector soon nodding in agreement.

Going over to the wreckage they started to search it, for anything that might have survived, he had several weapons on board, as they weren't ones to organise their weapons, carrying a bunch with them at all times, they only found two...Vision of confluence and light of the abyss, both trophy weapons from his adventures within the Vault of Glass and Crota's domain...he frowned as he looked around, noticing something glimming in the sunlight...could that be? yes it was, upon inspection it revealed that the Gjallarhorn survived, good news. While Hector searched for weapons Smithy was looking for signals, radio signals, guardian signals, anything.

"Nothing!, not even music! just static...god dammit this reminds of the warmind's bunker..." Smithy commented as Hector finished gearing up, putting his helmet on, "If we don't have connection, then we'l make the connection, lets go." Hector said as Smithy followed soon after.

Jaymie looked at her Ghost in frustration. No signal? Not a single signal at all?

"Agh! Come on Spark! We gotta get going if we're gonna make it to the raid on the Fallen stronghold! I can't bail on a raid again! People still remember that I chickened out on the Vault of Glass..."

"Well... It was kinda your fault..." Spark uttered softly, flying innocently around. "You were still newish at Guardian stuff... But you made it up later though~!" He was cut off by Jaymie taking Spark into her hands.

"That's enough out of you." She said before she wrapped Spark into her scarf. Usually Spark loved riding in her scarf, but didn't like it when Jaymie tried to silence him with it.

"But I think I can sense other ghosts nearb-mmmphmhmhm...." His muffled voice came. Jaymie just ignored it and went into her ship to grab her weapons.

"Hm... Maybe there's an outpost nearby. Spark, gimme my sparrow."

"Mphpmhmhmmmmm."

"I guess that means that is no Sparrow Link. Looks like we are in the middle of freaking NOWHERE!" She yelled into the sky. It was often Jaymie got loud. Very loud.

"Hey. Hey. Hey. HEY, LISTEN!"

Sitting up, the quiet guardian rubbed her helmet. The little ghost rolled it's single eye, and watched as Tieria stood up and rubbed her head. Yawning to herself, she began to look around, groaning.

"What happened?" Tiri asked, brushing some dirt from her shoulder. Still strapped to her leg was The Last Word, her trusty Handcannon. Relieved that it was still there, she looked around...there. Efrideet's Spear. Picking up the sniper rifle, she slid it on her back, where Asuna digitized it like usually...then she found it. Of course fate had it sticking up a few feet away, and she yanked the massive sword from the ground. Drawing Caliburn Red, she placed it on her back, and turned to face the last place she ever wanted to see.

"Are you going to be okay, Tieria?"

"It's been a year, Asuna."

"I'll be fine."

The little Ghost very much doubted that.

Yui heard shouting nearby, and readied her pulse rifle, Bad Juju.  It sounded like a person, but you could never be too careful.  As she approached the source of the sound, she saw another guardian with a Ghost. (Jaymie)  "Hey there!" Yui called.  "I seem to have crash-landed here, do you have a signal I could use to contact the Vanguard?"

"...and then she said, I can't believe it's not butter!" Otto said, which caused Alistair to burst into a small fit of laughter. "I've never heard that one before! I love it! Again again!" Alistair asked, which of course Otto felt proud of. "Alright, one more time. There was a cow and a goose-" Otto began, only for him to be interrupted by the echo of a scream across the forest. The two jumped up slightly, Otto quickly hiding behind Alistair's back. "What the hell was that?! It sounded like someone got murdered!" Otto hissed. "Maybe we aren't alone after all! Lets go find the source!" Alistair suggested, but was stopped by Otto before he could go any further. "Whoa whoa whoa no. That's like walking around a house with a serial killer in it and yelling hello for it. We have to approach this like professionals!" Otto insisted. "And how would that be?" Alistair asked. "We use the Marco polo technique." "Really?" "It's worked before no one cam resist answering Polo after hearing Marco." As always, as odd as the idea seemed...Alistair agreed with it without much second thoughts. "Well you have a point!" Alistair chuckled, only to then cup his hands around his mouth beginning to yell while walking. "MARCO!!!~"

Trinity nervously hovered over to where Excalibur-12 lay, just behind the pilot seat of his wrecked ship. It had been a while after the crash, but Excalibur hadn't rebooted yet.

"Come on, Cal." The Ghost muttered. "I'm really gonna need you for this."

She did her equivalent to pacing for a few moments before, spinning around and getting nearly in her Guardian's face.

"Wake up!" She yelled.

She was immediately answered by one of Excalibur-12's hands shooting up, quick as lightning, and closing around her like a vice. She struggled a little as he moved her away from his face and regarded her.

"Excalibur-12, what do you think you are doing?" Trinity asked in a scolding tone.

"So, you're calling me '12' now." The Exo said. "How sweet. Did you also betray the other two versions between us?"

Trinity stopped struggling. This was not Excalibur-12's voice. This one was richer and deeper. The kind of charming voice that stayed polite even after it had stabbed you in the back.

"Niner?" She asked, though she knew the true.

"That's right." Niner answered smoothly. "Good to see you still remember me, Trinity. I'd hate to think you'd have forgotten such an old friend. Especially not after our 'touching' farewell."

"Look, Niner" Trinity began, desperately, "I'm sorry about what happened, but you gave me no choice. And now is not the time to go over that. We're crashed on Venus, our team-"

"Do you think I care about your excuses?" Niner cut her off, his voice raised past his usual calm tone. "Now, be a good little parasite and tell me where your other precious Guardians are and I promise that I'll kill them quickly."

Once the word "kill" was uttered by Niner, Trinity built up an electrical charge and arced it through the Exo's body. He yelled in pain, made some mechanical clicking noises, then went limp. The Ghost pulled out of the lax grasp and retreated to a safe distance. Her chassis rotated nervously as she considered what to do next. She wasn't sure she could stop Niner this time. She wasn't prepared, she didn't have surprise.

After a few anxious moments, the Exo sat up. He flexed his hands experimentally, then seemed to check to see if he was damaged. He then looked up quizzically at Trinity.

"Trinity." He said, his voice sounding younger, higher, and with a honest ring. "What happened?"

If Trinity could breath, she'd have started back up again. This was Excalibur-12.

"We got shot down." The Ghost answered. "The fallen must have been expecting us."

Excalibur-12 nodded, then got to his feet.

"Then we had best regroup with the rest of the firetream." He said matter-of-factly.

Pulling out and priming his auto rifle, the Exo Guardian headed out of his wrecked ship, with his Ghost trailing behind, hoping that the specter of Niner didn't rear his head again.

"Noise...more than normal."

"Hrm." The Guardian continued, looking around. Sighing to herself, she continued walking, Last Word out. She kept a close eye on her surroundings, and came to a hill. She jogged up as she withdrew Efrideet's Spear, and took a knee. She scanned the area, until her eyes rested on a wreckage...and scanning around, Asuna dropped a waypoint.

"It's weak but I'm detecting a Ghost signal around here. Maybe a few more scattered. From it's trajectory...all of the Ghosts are heading for the stronghold."

"Let's not keep them waiting."

She took her handcannon out again, and quickly jogged down and out, heading for the Stronghold. It was going to be a long day...

A yell echoed through the forest. Sorraxe breaks his focus on caution and raises from his arched posture to get a better understanding of where the yell came from. "Wing, did you hear that?" he asks as he safeties his "The Crash" shotgun by taking his finger off the trigger and bringing it close to his chest, muzzle aimed at the ground. Wing hovers a little closer to him. "Of course I heard it" she says with a little bit of sass "We have to keep moving in the direction I told you to because that is where the yell came from. Plus, I'm getting a little of faint activity". Sorraxe re-shoulders his shotgun to stay on guard. He walks into a bush and peeks his head out on the other side to get an idea of what's to come. He sees a male titan emerging from his crashed ship. He wants to remain cautious so he approaches him with his finger on the trigger of his shotgun, but the shotgun held close to his chest, muzzle aimed at the ground. "HEY!" he yells as he cautiously jugs over. "Were you a part of the raid on the fallen stronghold?" he asks. Wing catches up. "LOWER YOUR GUARD, that is a fellow Guardian!" she yells at Sorraxe. "Sorry, I just want to be cautious. I don't know what to expect from this area" he says half apologetically.

-Raina Leon & Ghost: Balder-

"Hey!" *Ding ding* The Ghost flew at the unconscious body of a Guardian twice in quick succession, as he lacked hands, then looked behind himself cautiously and looked back at the Warlock. "Snap out of it, we need to move! Come on, buddy!" He was in luck though, as the female responded with a groan and a raised arm. Her ears rung as their crash was quite fierce.

"...B-Balder...? Wh-what...happened?" Raina asked, slowly getting up as the Ghost spoke. "We were shot down, probably by Fallen. The ship's totalled, Raina. I thought you were better than this?" His last sentence was dripping with sarcasm as Raina scoffed. "Heh...you, ahh, could do much better?" She asked jokingly, pulling herself up and dusting herself off while Balder chuckled. "Ahh, you're fine." He said with relief. "All right, get your weapons. I detect Ghosts nearby, so there must be other Guardians. C'mon!" He said, with Raina equipping her Auto Rifle, Sniper and her Sword: Frostmourne, in record time as she lead the way, breaking out into a run shortly after departing from the crash site.

Alistair turned to face a fellow Guardian. What Otto noticed first however was the weapon at hand. "Whoa WHOA! Take it easy, tough guy! Don't go pointing that thing at my partner!" Otto yelled, glaring if he could as he stood right in front of him. Alistair was less worried as he pulled Otto closer. "Hey now. Don't shout at people." Alistair said softly, much to Otto's amusement. "Should've known I sensed some activity. This isn't the only one though. There are others." Otto said. Alistair waved his hands. "Well I was heading somewhere for a mission when my ship crashed. All communications were cut and we have no signal so the actual mission never arrived...so I guess this is it?" Alistair said cheerfully. "Have you been waiting for anyone? Sorry if I disappointed you. Oh! How rude. I'm Alistair, and this is my friend Otto." He explained. Otto seemed indifferent as he floated closer to the other Guardian. "Don't tell me you guys crashed too? Dude I like, sense others around, were we all shot down?"

Hector kept going, even though smithy was detecting other ghost's signals, knowing full well a fireteam would be amazing right now ,he kept going forward, hoping to find something to help restore whatever signal was supposed to be there, not normal for ghosts to lose signals with the vanguard, Smithy was just flying behind him, like usual, trying to connect to music channels, what the heck was with that ghost and music? Hector would never know.

Hector soon came in contact with another guardian (Raina) her slamming right into him when turning a corner of rubble, both falling to the ground, Hector rolling backwards onto his feet as he raised his scout rifle at her, "WATCH WHERE YOU'R-Oh hello pretty lady!" Smithy dropped his tone as he saw Raina, as he flew towards her as Hector dropped his aim and holstered his scout rifle as he walked to her, "Knew my ghost was detecting signals, greetings." he said offering her his hand to help her up.

Sorraxe felt the tension he had created almost disappear as Alistair introduced him. He was fully sorry for being so hostile. He lowered his gun. "Sorry about that Alistair" he said as he scratched the back of his head with his free hand "It was nothing personal. I promise. The name's Sorraxe". Wing couldn't help but take advantage of the moment. "Now don't you feel stupid" she said with a demoralizing eye roll. Sorraxe glared at her. She rebutted by glaring back at him, but, eventually disengaged and hovered away to examine the wreckage. "Any who, have you seen anymore Guardians? You are correct in assuming that I am looking for someone."

"Aaaand, two ran into each other."

Rolling her eyes, she knelt on top of a ruin, and stared across the area. There, running into Raina, was Hector. She sighted down her rifle, getting a scope of the situation.

"Titan. Hunter." She looked them over. Hunter. Female. She looked over to the Titan. Hm.

Tieria activated her comm, which Asuna then boosted.

"Now that a wall at which the darkness crashes decided to run over one throne beneat the howling dark...Hunter, check the cloak for damage."

Asuna's eye roll was so palpable Tieria chuckled. A rare, rare chuckle that made Asuna freeze. Then...back to business.

"Hector." She started. "Only you'd be clumsy enough to run over someone after being shot down, while holding a Gjallarhorn. Been awhile since Crota."

Weiss drew in a breath as her scope's crosshairs hovered over the Fallen Dreg's head. She let out a short exhale as her gloved hands tightened around the trigger and the base of her rifle. She was well-hidden on this bit of knoll, with a towering mass of earth right beside her, and casting a decent shade over her nearly-hidden body. With steady aim and a clear mind she pulled the trigger and the single bullet shot out from the muzzle and blasted the Dreg's head apart. It's two companions didn't have much time to contemplate the mess, as their grey matter immediately left their own cranial cavities as Weiss took her next two shots.

"Excellent shot Guardian!" C-MON exclaimed, the little light on his Ghost shell blinking happily, "Your first shot hit them directly in the eye, a two-hundred and thirty five point two meter shot! Your next two could've been better. The last Dreg might've survived the shot if his skull was one point nine millimeters thicker."

Weiss said nothing as she got to her knees; popping the empty cartridge from her rifle and shoving a fresh one in. C-MON continued to elaborate on Weiss' accuracy, but the Awoken Woman ignored the Ghost completely and started to walk away.

"Oh, Guardian! I must alert you, it seems some other Guardians are nearby! Maybe you could finally make some friends...?" C-MON asked, but by then, Weiss was already gone, "Lady Weiss? Wh-where did you go...?I-I can't be left alone!!"

-Raina Leon-Her run swiftly came to a rather abrupt halt as she ran straight into another Guardian, who happened to turn the corner at precisely the wrong time. She shook it off quickly and scoffed at the rather loud Ghost."You can't tell if I'm pretty underneath this helmet, mouthy! I could look like the rear end of a Dreg for all you know." She snarked, then took Hectors hand and rose up sharply, then shook his hand. "Raina. Raina Leon." She introduced.

- Hector -

"Hector Drevis." He introduced himself, and gestured to his ghost, "And this is Smithy, he's quite...vulgar as you noticed." he explained as Smithy simply scoffed, "Least im funny..." Smithy muttered.

before he could make any further conversation he was soon contacted by a familiar voice, "Is that...?" Smithy asked as Hector immediately recognized who was calling him and the woman next to him "Hello to you too Tieria, watching from a vantage spot as always I believe?" he asked as he sent his own transmission to her which smithy boosted, "Don't worry! the rocket launcher is unloaded...for now anyway" Smithy explained with a nervous chuckle, both were glad that she didn't mention the part where they had to traverse the abyss in crota's domain, those holes were a pain in the ass...

Otto was quick to speak up his mind. "Sor-what now? What kind of name is that?" Otto laughed. "Otto that's rude." Alistair scolded before shaking his head. "Nope. Haven't found anyone else but you so far. We were trying out the Marco-Polo technique to see if anyone responded though." Alistair said cheerfully. "Hell yeah no one can resist good old Marco-Polo. Marco!" Otto yelled, to which had Alistair cheerfully yell back, "Polo!" Otto turned to the two once more. "Though finding the others shouldn't be hard to do. We just have to tell loud enough." Otto said. "Separating would be a bother. So let's stick together and find the rest?" Alistair suggested. Company was always lovely. Though he had to make sure Otto didn't ended up annoying the patience out of them. "We actually heard a yell and were heading that way. We should totally continue along." Otto said as he turned around. "Ahem, MARCO!...MARCO!" Otto began to yell, Alistair walking with the fellow guardian. "Isn't it strange though? That so many guardians seem to be in the same place? And that we both crashed? What are the odds?"

Sorraxe snickered a little at how well Alistair and Otto played off each other. "Damn. And to think that I was about ready to blow your heads off all for the reason of caution" Sorraxe said sarcastically "You two are alright in my book". He then begins to yell "MARCO" with Otto. They began to walk in the direction of the yell when Alistair brought up the question about Guardians crash landing in the same place. Wing flew up next to Alistair to answer his question. "Do you guys not remember being informed of a raid on a Fallen Stronghold in the area? The Vanguard had informed twelve of the most formidable Guardians to carry out the mission" she said in an almost worried yet informative way. Sorraxe chimed in "Also, we didn't just crash, we were shot down because the Fallen must have purposely leaked their information to catch us off guard". He then looked at Alistair in a perplexed manner. "How did you guys survive? We survived because I had activated my Ward of Dawn in my ship to provide us with a blessing of light".

Jaymie was having a fit on her lost ship until Spark began to freak out.

"B-Bad guy!" Spark squeaked, cowering behind Jaymie. Jaymie in turn spun around expecting some ugly Fallen of Venus animal thing, but no. There was another Guardian. Wait... Another Guardian?

"H-Hi!" Jaymie said, not really expecting company so soon. "My Ghost doesn't have a link... All communications are down. Even Sparrow Links. Did you get shot down too?"

Spark slowly peeked out from behind Jaymie's shoulder. "Oh... I-It's another G-Guardian..." He uttered softly. "I don't have contact with the Vanguard.. Or anything for that matter..." Just then, Jaymie and her Ghost heard faint sounds of shouting in the distance.

"What the hell is that?" Jaymie asked.

Marching resolutely through the wilderness, Excalibur-12 maintained a careful watch on his surroundings, lest the Fallen take him by surprise again. He doubted that the Fallen would leave the crash sites alone for long. The priority now was to find the other Guardians and make sure they were safe. After that, the mission could be seen to.

Excalibur-12 stopped in his march after heared an echoing "Marco!"

"One Guardian searching for another?" Trinity surmised, floating by Excalibur's head.

"Most likely." He answered. "We should meet up with that Guardian, then join the search for Guardian Marco."

"I think the shouter is referring to the old game 'Marco Polo' where one person shouts Marco, while the person they are trying to find answers 'Polo'." Trinity explained as they moved on again.

"Odd." Excalibur-12 expressed. "Why would there be a game about shouting names?"

The Ghost sighed.

"It's complicated." She answered with a sigh. "Just reply 'Polo' in a loud voice."

Excalibur-12 shrugged, and did as instructed.

"Polo!" He yelled.

After a little more trekking, Excalibur came across Alistiar and Sorraxe.

"Oh, greetings." He said in a friendly tone. "I am Guardian Excalibur-12. Are you too experiencing aerial difficulties?"

Alistair hummed. "Maybe that's the order I missed in the briefing." Alistair murmured. "I told you that playing Animal Crossing while in the briefing was a bad idea." Otto teased. Alistair had excellent memory...as long as he actually paid attention to what he wanted to remember. Soon enough, someone randomly answered Polo, and the two gasped looking at each other. "See? Told you! The Marco-Polo technique never fails!" Otto insisted as he turned. "WE'RE OVER HERE! MARCO!" Otto yelled. Soon enough another guardian appeared, and this one was another Exo too. "Dude! No way, you're all Exos! Is this wicked or what?" Otto awed. Alistair was more concerned with the current Guardian. "Hello! You could say that, we all got shot down too!" Alistair said cheerfully. "I'm Alistair~ This is Otto, Sorraxe and Wing. Nice to meet you, fellow Guardian!" "But out of all of us, Alistair and I are the awesomest. Right? Right? High five me." Otto said, prompting Alistair to high five him, which was simply Otto smacking himself against Alistair's hand.

"Damn." she said, under her breath.  She heard the scream too and said "We should go check it out.  And yea, I got shot down too."
