"...mie..."

"...Jay......mie..."

"Jaymie!"

Jaymie Ray woke up with a start, sitting up and placing a hand on her helmet. She looked around and found herself in... A jungle. The jungles of Venus at that. But where the hell in Venus? Jaymie saw her Ghost, who was frantically flying around her in worry.

"Jaymie! Jaymie! Jay!" Spark said in worry, hovering in front of her face. "Are you okay? Are you hurt? I think we crashed the ship..." He stated. Jaymie looked behind her to see her prized ship, the "Challenger" wrecked to pieces. She instantly stood up and looked at the damage in grief.

"Oh my God NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Jaymie cried, looking at the remnants of her pride and joy. "My baby! My precious ship..."

Spark looked over to his Guardian. "I'm not precious...?"

Jaymie looked over to her Ghost. "You're precious but my ship is precious too! And now she's gone... Can you tell Cayde we crashed so he can send someone?"

Spark nodded. "Okay! Hm... I'm not getting any signal... I'm can't make any sort of communication with anyone."

Tieria was suddenly behind Raina, Sniper Rifle held tightly in had. She stood easily, always aware of her surroundings, always ready. The ever-present handgun Last Word still strapped to her thigh, she let Asuna float around the duo.

"Long time, Ghosts." She said to the others. "Though, you might not have seen us." She informed Raina. "We have a tendency to stay out of sight."

As the Guardian approached, Sorraxe readied his shotgun to fire from the hip, but, almost instantly after realizing what he was doing, he immediately stood down to try and not come off as aggressive. "I saw that. You're not slick" Wing nagged. Sorraxe chuckled nervously "My bad, Wing." he apologized. "Don't apologize to me. You better apologize to him if he noticed." Wing rebutted and then landed on Sorraxe's head to relax. Sorraxe Sighed. He let Alistair do the introducing until Otto said that they were the awesomest. "Hold up. You guys might be cool, but you two are not the awesomest." he said playfully "By the way, Excalibur, have you seen anymore Guardians around? I'm looking for someone in particular. She might be throwing a fit or something right now over crashing her ship, she is about yeah tall" He says trying to illustrate her height with his hand "Hunter, and has a Ghost that can get annoying at times".

Excalibur-12 nodded to his fellow Guardians as they introduced themselves.

"by what basis are you two vying for the term 'awesomest'?" He asked, sounding perplexed.

"Pardon my Guardian." Trinity sighed. "He is a bit literal."

"Oh, it is a playful term?" Excalibur asked.

"Later." Trinity said. "I'm Trinity, by the way."

With whatever Alistair and Sorraxe were arguing about put out of his mind, Excalibur-12 considered Sorraxe's other question.

"No, you two are the first Guardians I've come across since my ship crashed, Guardian Sorraxe."

Jaymie signed and kicked the ground in frustration. It didn't sound like anyone made it to the stronghold.

"Oh man, your ship too? That sucks like really bad. I still can't get over my precious... Ship..."

Spark looked worriedly over to his Guardian and tapped the visor of her helmet with himself. "But I'm precious! I'm precious too right! You don't need a ship when you have me!"

Jaymie slightly chuckled and buried her Ghost into her scarf once more. "Come on, let's go investigate whatever dying animal is making that yell! And my name is Jaymie. Jaymie Ray. It's nice to meet'cha!" With that, she took Yui's hand and began to march.

"B-But-Hmmmphhmmmmm!" Came the muffled Spark.

"Excalibur. That's like the sword's name!" Alistair awed, remembering the mortal stories. He then pondered. "A ghost that can be annoying sometimes. You sure they aren't referring to you, Otto?" Alistair teased, laughing slightly as Otto responded sarcastically as always. "Ha ha ha very funny. I'm dying." Otto said. Though he could not help his curiosity at the Excalibur's literal personality. He just knew that he was going to have a blast with this one. Sadly Alistair noticed that as well. "Otto no-" "No wait. This is going to be precious. Hey Excalibur, why did the chicken cross the road?!" Otto began, much to Alistair's horror. He turned to Sorraxe and crossed his arms slightly. "Well the scream Otto and I heard did sounded somewhat feminine. What is her name? Maybe we can show it around and she'll be able to find us." Alistair suggested. They could always go the sneaky route. But Alistair wasn't the type to be sneaky or quiet. At all.

Yui shook her hand and said "Yui, Yui Arashi."  Just then, Orion appeared and said "I'm detecting several other Ghosts in the vicinity, we're not the only ones who crashed."  "Damn, something big must be going on, why else would so many Guardians be brought to the same place, only to be stranded." Yui said, cursing under her breath.  "Thank you for the intel Orion."  "Anytime." Orion said, vanishing back into her pack.

"Noted" Hector and Smithy said in unison at Tieria's statement, as smithy flew in front of Hector, and began talking, "So let me guess, we all got shot down by them fallen, none of us got any signal from the vanguard, and I don't have my music!, so I-" Hector nonchalantly pushed Smithy to the side interrupting him, "I suggest we don't stand here doing nothing, we need to get the comms line back with the vanguard." Hector stated as he checked his vision of confluence to see if it was loaded, "I suppose you will give us sniper support Tieria?" he asked her.

"Her name is Jaymie and I assure you, her ghost, Spark, is much more annoying than Otto." He said in a joking manner. As they moved along, they came across a ship that was blown to smithereens. Sorraxe quickly made his way to the cockpit to check if the ship was empty. To his surprise, he found a lifeless male hunter without his ghost. "Damn..." Sorraxe sorrowfully said to himself "He didn't make it." As Sorraxe began to remove the Hunter's body from the Cockpit, a Dreg wielding a Wire Rifle tried to catch him off guard by jumping on top of the ship's wing and taking aim. As the Wire Rifle began to charge, Sorraxe swiftly dropped the Guardian's body back into the seat, jumped towards the Dreg with his shotgun aimed at it from his hip, fired, and killed the Dreg. "Wing, scan the Dreg and find out which house it is a part of and send out a pulse to see if there are anymore enemies around" Sorraxe commanded as he made his way back to the Cockpit and took the hunter's body to safety. "I got it!" Wing replied and she flew over to the Dreg and began to scan it. Sorraxe removed the helmet of the Guardian and checked for his pulse. Nothing. Sorraxe sighed. "I guess we bury him" he said in a somber tone. Wing finished her scan. "I can't find the House this Dreg belongs to." Wing told Sorraxe. "Remember to scan the area for anymore enemies" He reminded her. She nodded her body and hovered off. Sorraxe then made his way over to the Dreg and began to examine it. He took into account the white armor and bird like symbol on the Dreg's back. "A new House?" He murmured to himself. "Hmmm.... We can call them the House of Angels for now, I guess." He said to Wing, Alistair, Otto, Excalibur, and Trinity. He then moved the body of the Dreg to check for life and the Dreg released a Dead Ghost from his hand. Sorraxe frowned and shot the Dreg again in the face. "Bastard." he said to the headless and limp body of the Dreg. If he could spit on it, he would have.

"Well whoever it is who did this, I'm gonna take them out! No one blows up my Challenger and gets away with it." Jaymie huffed as she took Yui along with her. That ship was her first and only ship. Jaymie spent a lot of time making it her own and taking care of it. To have someone shoot it down really made her mad.

"Maybe some of the other Guardians has a signal or a way out of here?" She asked. Spark nuzzles his head out of her scarf to get some words in.

"That's a nice idea!" He cheered. "Then we can go home and see everybody- ah! I read Guardians up ahead!" As if on cue, Jaymie saw Sorraxe and a few other Guardians with him.

"SORRAXE!" Jaymie squealed, and ran right over to the Guardian to tackle him in a big hug. She threw her arms right around his neck. "I didn't know you were on this mission too!"

"That's because you weren't paying attention to a thing the Vanguard were saying in the briefing~!" Spark cheered along, although he was quite happy to see other Guardians as well. "Wow, we found three other Guardians!

When Sorraxe heard his name yelled in an all too familiar voice, he turned around to see Jaymie running towards him.

"JAYMIE!?!" he yelled out in shock. He immediately dropped his shotgun and prepared himself for her embrace. When she tackled him with her hug, he hugged back and was thrown off balance by her force and weight of his guns on his back. He fell backwards and let go. "You need to really listen and pay more attention in those briefings." he scolded her for her comment about not knowing he was on the Strike Force. He then got up and helped Jaymie to her feet. He looked at her again and bear hugged her. "Man, you don't know how glad I am to see you!" He exclaimed and then released her. "I was so shook after finding the body of one of our fellow Guardians." he explained and gestured to the lifeless corpse on the ground. He exhaled in relief. "By the way, these guys are Alistair and Excalibur along with their companions Otto and Trinity." he introduced. "Also, who is this pretty lady you are walking around with?" he questioned and wiped his bulky arm around the stranger's shoulder as a friendly gesture.

Wing returned. "No enemies in the ar-" she paused as she noticed Jaymie. "You FOUND HER!?!" Wing exclaimed.

"Yup!" Sorraxe replied.

Yui rolled her eyes in her helmet as she pushed his arm off her.  "And just how do you know I'm pretty, when I've got this helmet on?" she asked, electricity crackling in her gauntlet as she shouldered Bad Juju.  Orion popped out and said "Hello, I am Orion, and this ice queen is Yui."  "I am not an ice queen, don't know where you got that idea from." Yui replied.  "Anyways, do any of you have a signal here?"

Alistair and Otto freaked out in general when the saw the creature that appeared to be dead come back to life to try to attack. Luckily Sorraxe took it down without much of a challenge. "Holy crap dude." Otto huffed, looking over at Alistair. "I wouldn't want to encounter one of those on a Friday night." He joked. Alistair shook his head and listened to Sorraxe talk about his friend Jaymie. But before he could decide if to yell out her name or Marco, she appeared along with another Guardian, tackling Sorraxe down. It was rather a happy sight. "Well we found her." Alistair joked. "It is nice to meet you all. I'm glad go see you survived your crash without any fatal damages to your brain or body." "And they're totally cute too!" Otto said, deciding to join in with the joke. However he decided to answer the question instead. "Sorry sweet cheeks, none of us have had any signal since we crash landed in this joint! Zero. Nada. I can't even pull up a radio signal, which absolutely sucks." Otto explained. "It can't possibly be a coincidence that all of our partners are having trouble with signals. I was hoping maybe moving to higher ground or somewhere less dense with vegetation would help fix the problem." Alistair suggested. "That or someone is messing with the signal in general on purpose." Otto added, looking over at Alistair.

Yui frowned under her helmet, pointing her pulse rifle at the ghost. "Call me sweet cheeks one more time, I dare you." she said, venom in her voice.

"Why aren't you going to the other Guardians?" C-MON asked Weiss, as she continued on her way without saying a word to her annoyingly vocal Ghost. If he were to pester her any more, she might blow a hole right in the center of it's stupid blue eye.

"Are you scared to admit that you're lost? This isn't where we're supposed to be. We're supposed to be searching for the Hive on the Moon, not--"

C-MON let out a high robotic squeal as Weiss turned around with her rifle, firing a burst at her Ghost.

"Be quiet." She snapped.

-Raina Leon-

"...so, hold on a second...everyone here got shot down?" She finally commented, expressing some....more than mild shock at the whole situation, then rubbed the back of her neck. "Wow." She noted.

"No use complaining 'bout it, Raina." Balder interjected, with Raina scoffing in response. "Well, we're supposed to be "all that" aren't we?" She added, with Balder's components moving around a little as he thought about it. "...kinda?" He said, prompting a sigh. "Gods, you're hopeless..." She jested.

Jaymie sighed and rubbed the back of her helmet when Sorraxe began to scold her. Sorraxe was the only person Jaymie ever truly listened to other than Cayde at the Tower. Even with Cayde Jaymie sometimes zoned out a bit. But not with Sorraxe.

"Why do they even need to brief us?" She uttered. "All we have to do is shoot."

"I think there's more to missions than shooting." Spark said. "And by the looks of our surroundings, I'm pretty positive we're on Venus!"

Jaymie looked to the two other Guardians that was with Sorraxe and chuckled. "...It's nice to meet you Excalibur and Alistair. My name is Jaymie and this is my Ghost Spark!" She was going to continue, but suddenly she heard a loud burst from a rifle an a squeal from a Ghost.

"A Ghost just screamed!" Spark said in alarm.

Sorraxe ignored Yui as she readied her weapon. He looked at it as her trying to assert her dominance.

"Hmmmm...." Sorraxe thought about Otto's comment about somebody not wanting us to have signal "An EMP of sorts is what you are suggesting, I'm guessing?" he asked right before his concentration was broken by a shot in the distance, followed by the squeal of a Ghost. Sorraxe quickly retrieved his shotgun and shouldered it. "Wing, are you sure there are no enemies around?" he asked.

"I scanned three times and got an aerial view. I'm positive there are no enemies around." she alertly responded

"I believe you." he assured her."But still, I advise everybody to ready your weapons and be frosty!" he announced as he looked at Yui. "Looks like you were first to ready up" he said in a joking tone. He began to walk forward but couldn't help but look back and give in to opportunity. He looked at Yui, smiled, and said "Hot stuff".

She pointed her pulse rifle at him and said "I'm going to give you one warning, I do not tolerate those sorts of comments.  It's things like that that make me hate men."  "I'm a man." Orion said.  "No, Orion, you're a Ghost.  You have a masculine voice, but you're still a Ghost."

Otto screamed before hiding right behind Alistair once he had angered Yui. “ALISTAIR DUDE DO SOMETHING!” He screamed from behind. Alistair couldn’t help but to chuckle at the situation, and looked at Yui before giving a small bow of the head. “Forgive Otto’s comment. I’m sure he didn’t mean to cause you any discomfort or any insult.” Alistair said, trying to once again, save his Ghost from trouble he had gotten himself into. Alistair took out his weapon as he glanced over at Sorraxe and then at Spark. “If a Ghost screamed then there must be yet another Guardian around. Let’s look for them before going on with the mission.” Alistair suggested. “Oh oh I’ll do it. MARCO!” Otto said as he began to scream, floating around while screaming it in different directions. “Come on kid you should know how this works. MARCO!” Otto yelled, Alistair shaking his head as he chuckled at the group. “Well, it’s nice to meet you all. I love how we’re all so different yet so alike. This is going to be a fun group to be in!” Alistair said rather happily as he walked along.

The guardian rubbed her helmet, right where her forehead would be.

"We all did. Lost one of my auto rifle...but I will digress." She checked her sniper rifle. "Let's move out when you all are ready."

"Oh, no." Trinity murmured after Otto asked the chicken question.

Trinity give the Guardians who addressed Excalibur-12 an apologetic nod and a 'nice to meet you' as her somewhat simplistic companion considered the topic posed to him.

Excalibur-12 looked thoughtful as he considered the problem. As far as he knew, the species chicken was non-sentient, so the reasoning behind its crossing a road was have to be based on the simple needs of an animal. But even with that, there was still too many variables unaccounted for, such as what road, what was the health state of the chicken, was this chicken domesticated, and had it been mutated in someway to give it an enhanced intelligence?

The Exo was about to ask Otto for some clarification on these points when the sound of a Ghost in distress echoed around. Instantly, Excalibur had his rifle Hard Light pointed in the direction of the scream.

"I am afraid I will have answer your query at a later time, Ghost Otto." He said.

Excalibur-12 started heading towards the sound, looking completely focused on watching for tangos. Trinity drifted over to Alistair, but kept an eye on her guardian.

"Please keep your ghost from messing with my guardian." She whispered in a pleading tone. "I've been working with him, but he's still getting hung up on things."

Jaymie was already gone; she ran right in the direction of where the scream came from. She always jumped right into things without giving it a single thought. Sometimes it was a good thing, sometimes it was a bad thing. Many of her deaths in the Crucible was because of not thinking before she jumped right in, and the reason why she didn't make it through the Vault of Glass was because of that as well.

"DONT WORRY I'M COMING!!!" Jaymie called, running over to where Weiss was. On her way there, she also yelled back to Sorraxe. "AND STOP MESSING WITH MY NEW FEMALE FRIEND!" Spark was left behind, who looked down and signed.

"This might be a bad idea..." He said quietly. "W-Why does she have to go on without me...?" Spark even began to sniffle. Once Jaymie made it to Weiss, she jumped into a battle stance and aimed everywhere, even shooting randomly in a few places.

"Do not fret fellow Guardian- wielded of Light; I am here!" Jaymie proclaimed.

Hearing gunshots and probably yelling, the quiet sniper wondered just what the hell was going on here...meh.

"I should have hit on the Queen. At the very least, I'd have died with a smile."

"Oh quiet you." Asuna chided. "You and your fantasies. Why can't you stay focused at all times?"

"Because being super serious at all times is boring." She looked at Maxwell and Raina. She wondered if they were acquainted too...

Yui grabbed Spark and followed after her, bobbing and weaving through the trees, as well as avoiding Jaymie's gunfire.  "Watch where you're shooting!" she said, letting Spark go to return to her.  "You almost hit me a couple times!"
